Mr. Cutler is such a hoot to listen to. there is no BS, but he is very generous in his recollections of other people. he is a legend just for the Europe 72 tour and that immortal album. also, Altamont was really not Sam's fault. It was the Dead's manager, rock scully who hatched the idea to hire the hell's angels. just saying, Sam seems to get blamed, but the idea was not his. Rip.

You're hardly a clone, Richie. You're contribution to the J.P. legacy is very noticeable .. and you're a far superior guitar player to K.K. Downing i.m.o. I can only imagine what you and Glen (in his prime) might have created together.

Why did Bear move to Australia? California will sink into the Pacific next spring. A huge polar shift will cause the North American tectonic plate to buckle. Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles are all going to the bottom of the ocean in one day. It is foretold in Revelations and the prophecies of Edgar Caycee.

It’s march 12/23, I met bear at a restaurant in SF broadway joes it think it was. It was after a JGB show, bear sprung some belt buckles on me in a lovely case. I’m glad I bought one, I wear it daily to this day. I had 200 bucks to my name after the purchase and had to get back to NY to continue high school….on a side note, KZbins algorithm sent me Bobby from the Ryman last night, I didn’t hear anything worth archiving. It was very sad. I don’t get it to be honest. Not trying to be mean here, expensive tickets, marginal quality music, it confusing. My dad gave me his McIntosh 125 / 225 when I was 12. Thanks for the video fellas.

Mike, everything you shared in this interview reinforced my love of Frank's music, my love of prog and how those genres coexisted, cross-pollinated and overlapped to the delight of an audience that appreciates the intentions, skills and dedication of serious musicians like you. (Why are my sentences so long?) Of course, all of us on the west coast who were saddened by the demise of the '88 band before we got to see you guys are now delighted to witness The Zappa Band in your current form. Keep up the good work and know that I'm tuned in, if not for a live show, I'll be watching from a wilderness location via Starlink from the middle of SOMEWHERE.

I'm gonna write in Polish. Otóż, Frank Zappa był i jest wielce mądrym człowiekiem, nadto znakomitym kompozytorem, instrumentalistą. Byłem jego fanem od najmłodszych lat i takim jestem po dzień dzisiejszy. Pozdrawiam z Warszawy, z Polski

Its absolutely crazyyyyy to me that a player as good as Richie was at the point where he was considering moving on from music to make a real living. How was this man flying under the radar well into his 30s? .... I heard him say he was considering quitting just before the call from Priest came. What an amazing guitar player and the perfect match for Priest! Love live the metal gods.

Recently checked out Judas Priest gear run down and found out about Richie. awesome player with awesome equipment with a great Signature guitar. Very humble in touch with fans etc a real jem. To me thats how it should be. Ive chatted with s few pro guys like him and when somone with that experience shares things with you for me thats what its all about. I'm a guy like Eddie that tore my stuff apart and worked on it myself since the 80s so gear and equipment always interest me too. I like Richies amp he's got that good high gain tone and like his setup seems very simple and strait forward. I am really impressed. He definitely knows his shit. He makes it look so easy too. I love Priest and Rob etc they rule rocken hard and their sound is so perfect consistent you would think they were all still young. I definitely want to make it to a show this year😊👍👍

Richie Faulkner is just simply one of the good ones. There's a ton of real shits in the music business, it's really great when somebody like Richie comes along. And to have his aorta rupture onstage in the middle of one of the most intense songs to perform??? And he FINISHES THE SONG before heading off to the ER for emergency surgery. Damn. Stellar player, stellar dude, that good fortune couldn't have gone to a nicer guy
