I am in Florida, and from what I saw regarding licensing it seems like we mainly just need to fill out the Healthcare Services Pool Application from the Florida agency for healthcare administration. In NY you can only apply for a license in hard to service areas or buy a license. In the course we cover the approach and methodology not a state by state guide.

Now that I'm trying to sign up with u as my mentor and you are in NY as well, maybe I'll be able to make little more money to enable me pay for my course. I work for a private home care aides for years now and as u know, using private home care is temporary for clients and after some time they switch either to Medicaid or Medicare. I'm working with a client now in Nassau County for about two months and they are already considering Medicaid. Do u cover Nassau County too?

If you mean your company is state registered you would still need to check with your state to determine if licensing is needed and that's typically a department of health inquiry
