Dealing with snow is so much easier when you have the right tools for the job. The snowfighers there seem to be very skilled, and it's also refreshing to see that the public basically ignores the operation and works around it. We have Larue blowers, and they are a game changer. I can see why it's so hard to get new iron here in the States. It's all going to Canada. Impressive fleet, to say the least.

Looks like a great opportunity to make bottled water to me. If not bottled water, then a tremendous stored water facility.
What’s with the flashing headlights? The only people that need that kind of attention are 16 year old girls, and Harley riders.

Some of the comments here are just absolutely bloody ridiculous... "Ewww pollution bla bla bla" You realise that snow is just cold water yeah?? Like rain?? Do you cry like a little snowflake every time it rains and washes everything off the roads straight into water courses??? Get a grip.. What they do there is actually cleaning the environment you lemons

I’ve travelled to just about every major city in Canada, and Montreal is hands down the worst city I’ve ever visited. Quebec City is a close second.

I don't know which city you from, I think Montreal is not so bad..lots of water and mountain around, near USA, besides the cold winter and airport in the city,

As a quebecer i always forget how LOUD those mounted blowers are. In big snowstorms they get those out on the street and being woken up in the middle of the night by those things is hella scary windows shaking like crazy dogs barking

yes, I totally agree.

In the summer 2024, the city of Montreal wanted to get rid of the old dumping platforms (what you see on the left at 3:31) to make a longer continuous platform (what's on the right at 3:31). The company I work for did the drilling and blasting of the wall face, so they could pour the concrete for the new continuous platform. it was a very challenging and interesting project !

And this, kids, is how man made glaciers are made. Just keep filling in the quarry. Now if you could only package it up and send it to California during the wild fire season. Or anywhere that they need water. That is so cool to watch! I would hate to back up too far!
