As a model aircraft pilot for over 46 years and CFI for a decade helping out aeromodellers where possible in Australia, I’ve gotta say that was absolutely awesome control, precision and skill! Just WOW! 😀👍😀👍

Sure got my attention when the engine cut out. Twice! But it got your attention too 😁. That was a good landing under the circumstances.

Without a doubt one of my top five favorite aircraft of all time! What a stunning and clearly successful construction at this, what appears to be the perfect scale! And magnificent piloting too I must add! I kept waiting for the drum machine to ease out, so that i could revel in the four-in-unison music which this must have, no matter what powers her! Perhaps in future..

He's Only guy gettin' away with not lunchin' his craft doin' goofy harriers...his precision aerobatics are kool...they get back to his residence...and live to fly again...full size craft do Not do harriers or there'd be beau coup crashes...our rc birds Don't manuver that which full size can't!! So we fly normal, return intact craft to home base...And fly again...hope Gernie's luck holds out!!

NOTICE -------- see below for what is kind of a spam comment and I apologize but I really think I have an idea that could add some fun to the flight of future bi-planes. I am posting this message into any relatively newly posted large scale bi-plane video. I have been watching bi-plane videos for a couple of weeks trying to get a feel of just how big of a bi-plane I will ultimately want to fly. I am completely out of my element and a total newbie to RC aviation. So I just had something pop up in my frontal lobe and I really think it would be a huge fan favorite at your next air show. Ok..... here we go. Build a large to scale barn with a gambrel roof (thats the kind of curved downward one) and have doors on each side open so you can come in and rocket through the barn.... Thus Barn Storming in RC..... would be Bitchin'!!. The other thing I have noticed and I cannot figure out why I haven't seen it on any planes yet is to have a to scale "wing-walker" either strapped to the support that is mounted to the top wing...... or have one out in the wires in the wing.... Now for the really cool finally, have the person attached to the top wing brace and have a release mechanism so that you can roll inverted and dump them off. The model wingwalker has a parachute and glides down to the ground..... If I was flying a plane as of now I would have it part of my show.......Could be pretty cool if you could drop the wingwalker off at almost maximum altitude and calculate drift and try to land them on the runway. A large red X on the runway and see who can land their wingwalker the closest. I bet that someone out there will do something like this if they catch wind of this or if you spread the word to all of your friends that fly bi-planes. I often wondered why you guys do not drop paint balls or flour bombs as a competition of accuracy. Ok.... I'll shut up now. Peace

Curious to know if all those rivet details cause more stress to the wings etc, vs just a clean design?

On grass runways, wheel pants must be trimmed high, that often solves the nose over problem.

Nice but that Rotax high revving tone bugs me a bit. Surely there’s a 6 cylinder direct drive out there somewhere. D motor, Jabiru, UL power?
