I have 2 double/day shots. My care is to back flush each Saturday (1 time/week). I use descale solution 1 time/ 6 months of use. I also use Zero Water Purification so zero - 3 percent solids are all in my coffee water. Most times I do not see anything flush out on my machine since using this system. My Ascaso machine is great, and when it does wear out I will most likely get another.

I have found that Energizer rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries, do not work in a Panasonic cordless phone phone charger! I must charge the batteries in a wall socket with a different nickel metal hydride battery charger then put the batteries in the phone when they’re fully charged! Why the hell must I do this! Obviously, Panasonic is forcing people to buy their brand of rechargeable batteries! As Energizer rechargeable batteries, will not work in the phones charger/s! What bullshit!
