How I descale my Ascaso DUO PID

In this video I used descaler which came with the machine when I purchased it last month. As recommendations from Ascaso the owner should carry out descaling every month and back flush every week.
Here we goes…
Ps: I just do my own way, please do comments for improvement so I can do better for next time. Wishing all of you have a good day & god bless.

Hi, @belzibelzibelzi, I don’t have any manual or instructions just like people mentioned here. I just make initiative combined the step & implement what I know on this machine. I do video for my future reference & hope it will help others.

I have 2 double/day shots. My care is to back flush each Saturday (1 time/week). I use descale solution 1 time/ 6 months of use. I also use Zero Water Purification so zero - 3 percent solids are all in my coffee water. Most times I do not see anything flush out on my machine since using this system. My Ascaso machine is great, and when it does wear out I will most likely get another.

Hi @Rich, Yes, as Ascaso mentioned “ To prevent lime-scale problems, you can also use water treatment filters. However, we recommend cleaning in line with consumption. Use of filters and Coffee Washer( descaler) helps prolong the life of the coffee machine in optimum condition.” Hope this helps.

Does naket spoon come with the package or did you buy it seperately? I have the same machine but only have double channel spoon.

Hi ErenK. The naket spoon u mentioned which I believe is naked porta filter is not included in the package. I bought it separately. Hope those help.

Hi bro, . I can’t compared with other same class machine coz the previous machine I used is manual lever machine (flair 58). The steam is good enough for home use.

I just recieved mine. I'm having trouble with the brew pressure. When I put the blank filter on I get 10 bars but when I put the 18gr fine coffee I get like 3 and it comes out fast. I tried grinding finer but same result. Any ideas?
