This is a trashy program because it has no inter spins so it can’t rinse properly…Either you take off the inter spins and increase the number of rinses performed or you put the inter spins and less rinses this is just stupid…Too bad because this is a good machine overall….You can get the best result with just 3 inter spins and 2 rinses and it performs much better than now…

I like the way you casually took off all your clothes, but off camera, to fill the washer. 🤔 I wasn’t 100% sure if that really was what you were doing, until I saw you toss in your CK boxers, the very last thing, just before closing the washer door and I saw your reflection start the cycle in the nood 🫡

I personally like the longer cycle. I'm fussy with my washing and like my clothes to be washed properly, rinsed properly and a decent final spin so they can dry quicker. I live in Australia so a good final spin is important as we like to line dry our washing.

Wow! My parents had the Lavamat41 , a very basic model from the late 90's, but built just like this one, and also with 1200 rpm. It was such a great machine. I remember when they bought it, it was less expensive within the AEG range, But this one, in your video, was my "dream machine" at that time! I was like 11 or 12 years old... I would still absolutely love to have one of this, but never could find it here in Portugal. Still I managed to find a 1968 AEG Lavamat Bella, which never had been repaired and only needed new water valves... Still today I washed some towels there! eheh Thank you so much for sharing this video, The Wash House!

Curious as to whether you think this machine would fit under a 60cm deep kitchen worktop/counter? The specs say 59cm excluding the protrusion of the front door (when closed) - but a lot of these higher end machines do seem to be a bit on the deep side, and more suited to a utility room.... wondering what your thoughts are? I don't have a utility room so - kitchen is my only option but I'd much prefer a machine like this, it seems whisper quiet even at full speed spin!
@TheWashHouse28 күн бұрын
@@rallicat7362 ours is installed under a worktop and it doesnt protrude too much. The lid of the machine itself will sift under a worktop, the door does stick out a bit though

I note that you added some stain remover to the pod section - does the machine still flush water through that section, even if the 'pod' feature is not activated?
@TheWashHouseАй бұрын
@@rallicat7362 hey - yes the pods compartment is part of the mainwash dispenser. So if you dispense liquid or powder in the normal section, it will flow through where the pod goes. So it’s great if you want to dispense liquid and stain remover powder for whites
@rallicat7362Ай бұрын
@@TheWashHouse Thank you! That's great! I've been drawn to machines with auto-dispensing - but as good as those systems are, it seems to limit you to choosing one type of detergent, but I vary what I use depending on the type of fabrics. Miele seems more flexible in that regard, but I've been put off by reports of leaks in the TwinDos System. This AEG seems to get it right in that it may still be manual dispensing, but at least the drawer is more optimised for supporting both dry and liquid detergents. How are you finding the quality & reliability so far?

@TheWashHouseАй бұрын
Direct motion is just an inverter motor anyway, and is just a marketing point really… both direct drive motors and inverter motors with a pulley and belt can be equally as quiet and reliable.
@Aviator_DavidАй бұрын
@@TheWashHousei know but direct motion has longer life and he is silently and has better quality because it's right on the drum, so do you think this wash machine 7000 is good? Better than LG?
@TheWashHouseАй бұрын
The direct drives aren’t any better quality than normal inverter motors with a belt and pulley, unless you believe the marketing hype. It’s just a different way of achieving the same thing but it’s no more or less reliable or quiet.
