love you guys ! mostly there aren´t special (concretly) symbols of German history in this music video , imo mostly it is an artificially kind of a view about all national histories/ of all nations, the main issue is: there are some bad and some good things in the history of every nation ("I cant give you my love !") and we all are a part of them , we all are human beings, the differences between the nations are not so important ... Language barrier on "hold still" it is a homophone. He was saying "hold still" but also pronouncing it as "hold steel" (a gun). Great breakdown though.

WTF?!? He is broken because he broke up with the woman he loved but couldn't live with. The man no longer finds any pleasure in life and at the first opportunity he practically tries to commit suicide. His friends are trying to get him out of depression, that's why they are with him on this mountain trip. Unfortunately, they cannot save him. What is so hard to understand?
