The nerve of Jamie (and Ada) to condemn Mac for being upset at Rachel 5:35:20. He has every right to be especially when she lied to him for months & humiliated him on the witness stand. Everyone is treating her like a victim when she pulled the trigger pretty callously if you ask me. All of this is a result of her constantly hiding her impulsive behavior.

I think I watched this in the 70s because it was on after school. It came on at 3 p.m. I think. But I lost track of it after I went to work full time in 1978. I somehow managed to follow Guiding Light and As the World Turns somehow - through holidays and sick days LOL

Ohhhh so they reverse psychology on us fan first it was iris trying to get daddy’s attention then it was Amanda trying to get mommy’s attention but there parents loved them already what’s the deal with wanting all this attention as if they were babies I don’t get it … iris was jealous of Amanda and Amanda was jealous of Carl and the fact that Rachel loved him but in the end Rachel still chose her over Carl and those two little babies goes to show she had nothing to worry about because mommy still chose her even though trying to take the company from Mac hurt him but what Amanda did to Rachel was worse than trying to take the company which she did with Jake Amanda was just selfish and jealous of her own mom .

So if Mac influences your everyday why did you turn out to be be so unforgiving Mac was a forgiving man the children that Mac and Rachel raised turn out to be so unforgiving and horrible Carl never raised his kids and his sons were good men and their father was supposed to be the evil guy how ironic smh

Hi chase I hope your Thanksgiving was good is it just me or does it seem that later years aw viewers just seem to be meaner and tolerate stuff on the writers end or act mean towards valid critisisms. I say that because I am continuing to watch 1989 aw very begrudgingly for research porposes even though on almost every episode it makes me upset. Compared to watching 1989 atwt or 1989 oltl both with aw vets at the time. But unlike aw atwt veiwers did not tolerate that stuff at all that were loyal fans of Doug marland. Atwt. And chase Donna swajeski years later showed up at guiding light did the same type of stuff and guiding light viewers did not tolerate that either. Personally chase from what I have seen of another world harding Lemay is my favorite followed the cullitons and margeret depriest. Ohh and I forgot tom racina and Sherri Anderson too who were vets of days of our lives. Any way my hope is I don't have to be so critical someday. Happy Hollidays chase.

Gabriel, Thank you for your good wishes, and I pray that you are doing great. Regarding mean and tolerance, I haven't noticed anything changing. Also, I have very little knowledge of the other soaps or status of things. Take good care, Gabriel. 🙂

@@Chase4everChase thank you chase that means a lot to me I got upset after someone said something mean to me over a very valid critisism on Eddie drudings channel telling me I should just keep my comments to myself. And this was 1989 period. But now I feel validated with my critisms towards that headwriter after watching a podcast interview sandra Ferguson now last name robinson did about a month ago. Where she discussed certain things but in a very nice way. Where it sounds like during her first run at aw they kept just having her work with dificult actors. Which was not right now Robert Kelker Kelly's critisms are very valid. Because I can see it on Camara in 1989. Also Chase sandra herself posted a, short clip of the 2003 reunion show and thanked a fan for sending that to her not sure if that was you chase. Anyway I wish the world could be kinder again. Plus chase I enjoyed watching days last week and seeing stephen sneitzer again and a whole bunch of old favorites again and can't wait for the new writers material to get on air. I am hoping the writing trends of the last 35 years with daytime will finally end. And daytime will get back to the harding Lemay Doug marland way of writing again so the newbies will let to apreciate what you and I got from daytime TV for years. Take care chase.

@@gabrielstern4992 -- Gabriel, I appreciate your many acts of kindness--including what you now shared. One thing that helps me at times is realizing the old saying really is true: "Hurt people hurt people." When someone hurts others, either they have no conscience at all or they are deeply, deeply hurting themselves. Keep smiling from your heart, and feel the love from those of us who treasure you. 🙂
@gabrielstern499212 күн бұрын
@Chase4everChase thank you chase I got a mean reply yesterday that really upset me basicaliy telling me to shut up and keep my opinions to myself. It was flat out mean but aperently my critisisms are abisolutely valad towards Donna, Swajeski based on soap opera digest reports at the time. Interviews Alan Locher has done but not only that sandra Ferguson or Robinson now valadates some of those critisms too where it seemed like during her first run on aw they were sticking dificult actors no one else wanted to work with on her. Because she had a talant to work with those types. But here's the thing chase I learned when you do that you will keep getting sent crap and not fix the issue and chase I not necesarelly talking about Robert Kelker Kelly either. Who was terific but got annoyed by around 1989. But stuff sandra was saying like this one actor who she ended up working with on another soap was an example she mentioned and while I don't want to say who it is. Or who I think it is. Stories like he refused to rehearse with me or the other actors. So I had to learn my lines and his lines too and when he would mess up I would have to keep going. Thats not right. Or what happened to Doug Watson either. I know these type LA of things because I dealt with that when I was doing call center work where they Keith sending garbage and the rest of us kept trying to cover and hide it from the health care clients but it never got better. I just wish more people had compassion so that's why I beat the drum real hard when it comes to things that aren't right. Even with how daytime has been doing gay storylines. And chase I am not the only one either other subscribers of the Locher Room have said the same things too. I would just like to see daytime get back to doing stuff like harding Lemay did or Doug marland especially and I really am hoping days new old writing regime will do that finally. Again thank you chase.

The actor playing Jason Frame is so despicable on this show, but he was so lovable as Dr. Rick Webber (Laura's dad) on GH. He was also the guy in the commercial who famously said, "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on tv." 😊

Hi Nadine chase is a aw expert and fan I will respond to you about the Carl stuff that was brought up with Mr Craig blaze anyway I loved Mac cory but I loved the chemistry charkes Keating had with Vicky Wyndham too. Any way Nadine you know if you watch back to charles keatings first run as Carl you know he had another son perry who was involved with Rachel's sister Nancy and died saving her life in 1985. And he had a bad relationship with his son. So I suggest if you have not done so going back and watching that period of the show and chase has sole of that period and chase has a lot of stuff from 1980 1981 where you can see the real jamie frame and my favorite Jamie Richard bekins and the real cecille and my favorite Susan kieth whose real life husband briefly played Dustin Trent in aw in 1989. Happy thanksgiving. @@NadineHutchinson-f5e
