Man it feels so good to hear an opinion from an actual HUMAN being who cares about WHAT is being said, like remove the music, remove the fame, if these were two of your friends would still be friends with them?!?!?

OK, so, don't listen to so and so, and don't listen to so and so neither. Now what? Who do we listen too? We spend so much time making videos about who not to listen to, but very few videos list who we should listen to. Do you have spotify playlists with great honerable christan music. Such a list can't be just 10 songs - most of us listen to music all day long, so playlists need to be pretty large. You should include this list in every video like this one.

I’m confused if you’re a Christian artist why are you not singing about the gospel and talking about it? That’s all I can talk about ❤

@@allofshope I appreciate you. the whole first half was most applicable to current things I’ve been attempting to rethink, just motivationally. But following that I replayed it as well since it was for the greater good of all us with many quotes that all can live by. But from point 32 onward solidified the video as being indeed from a wise reliable source.

I love writing for Jesus! He speaks to me through my music. I am not famous, nor will I ever be. I don't want to be. This is just something I do for my Lord and savior! For God!! And because music is something I love, I use it for good. I use my gift for God I love singing to and for him. May Jesus reign!!!!!! Praise him!!!!!!

It’s just the online people that really give a damn. Drake shows is selling out everywhere. Nobody cares about what Kendrick thinks of him. Drake may be more stand-up than Kendrick Lamar

True! This happened to me with Twenty One Pilots. Years ago I found their music and started watching videos of them. I quickly noticed no cursing, Yoo-hoo drinks on their tour bus, and a difference in the way they talked and acted. They were just good boys. (I’m much older.) Intrigued, I continued down the rabbit hole of videos and found high values and Christianity in this secular band. This was before they were popular, and I shared them with my friends and am so happy for their success. I’ve been to their concert and truly love the boys. I know I can listen to them and support them without compromising my values. I’m not expecting perfection from them. I’m just so happy for their journey. We need more Christians in the secular music industry.

it's mostly the online fans who are really insufferable. like, if you deep dig enough, there are actually people out there refusing to listen to each other's side. and it's even more sad for kendrick fans because they see him as this, humble, well composed man, yet his online fans are the complete opposite.

Wow, this is so helpful. Thanks for doing this. The point that hit me (as a homebody who rarely lives the house or sees the sun) is what you said about "Humans beings are not built for cages". I do not have a mentor and in all crystal clarity, I've been seeking one for YEARS! I think maybe I'm always too isolated in real life or maybe I'm just not ready yet. Idk. I've gone to so many seminars, online and in person. I've paid for courses, etc., yet I've not been able to gain myself a real live person to mentor me. I've been self employed for years and have grown but I don't want to buy myself a job. I want to build a team and grow a business. I realize my lack of know-how is costing me precious time, more than anything. I also spent my 30's being married to a man drilling holes in my ship and doing everything he could to verbally tear me down and discourage me. I don't ever give up as long as God keeps breathing life into my lungs. 💯🙌🏾
