Spotted hyenas get most of their food from hunting. It's actually the lions that scavenge more because their kill rate sucks.

Though fascinating as it is, the shown encounters with wolwes, hyenas and gorillas are not as accidental as the video seems to imply. They are quite used to these people, because they've been studying the animals for years. 😄

People don’t seem to realize that lions do not look at humans as food anyways. They’ll kill you if they see you as a threat no doubt. Its the tigers that actually go out their way to hunt and eat human beings not lions.

UAF spotted at 7:17 in the background. I did come across two comments about it, but I didn’t have time to look through the thousands of comments on the film to check and see if there was an explanation for it. Watching this video at regular speed the scene is very short and I had to stop it and go back because it looked so out of place. I then zoomed in on it and it is definitely not a cloud. I will have to check back another time to see if anyone else had already expanded on this. It’s pretty cool if it’s real. This entire video I thought was great regardless.

wonderful video - editing, narration, choices, incredible camera work. the Cheetah cubs were and their mother 🐅 were quite amazing. but the lionesses were so scary, yet so nonchalant. the gorillas 🦍- what words? yikes! baby sea lions are adorable. the meerkats are always playful and smart. well, each one was amazing - the wolves, the hyena, the rhino, et al. how can you pick. oh, the bear looked like a movie director. 🐏🦛🦏🐅🌷🌱

The video has so many interesting segments and shots, I hate to complain, but I'm calling CLICKBAIT because the thumbnail was not in the video. I have been looking at that thumbnail on my recommended list for so long, and finally decided to watch it just to see that segment, and lo and behold, it was not in the video. CLICKBAIT. Reported.
