Aren't they cool? I sliced them and microwaved them. They turned out like nice mushroom flavored crackers.I hope to find them again and mushrooms are kind of like meat and I am vegan.

The green gills give it away, there are other parasol mushrooms that are edible, always be 100% sure before consuming any mushrooms.

I tried this at the stage it was in in your video, but I didn't like the way it tasted. I would try it again just for the benefits. I did hear someone else say it was nice tasting.I wonder if you're gonna like it in your tea. I wouldn't say I'm healthy, but I don't take any pharmaceutical medicine.

I mix a little honey with it just to take advantage of its medicinal properties, too good to pass up.

That bird like design actually changes the flavor, so with a sharp knife I scrape off the design sometimes and the pores. Makes it taste different, I eat mushrooms because they're not only nutritious but medicinal. Best medicine I ever had, thank you!

With this one I would say, start out with a salad because its not a bitter plant, once you've tasted it then you'll know what it'll be good with, flowers are sort of sweet and it makes a good trailside nibble.

What does it taste like?

I would say to try it in a salad first, and that's going to let you know what it would taste good with. It's not a bitter plant so it blends with most greens, I think you'll like it.

I usually use the rule of cutting away my mushrooms, leaving the base and mycelium intact for future harvest. I also never take all that are present, leaving at least a few choice ones to spore for future harvests also. I'm really enjoying your videos. Quick and to the point. Thank you
