Just curious isn't the Mk6 wagon just a Mk5 wagon with mk6 dash and front? If so wouldn't it have been easier to utilise the guards/fenders from that?

The mk6 wagon fenders are already a mix of mk5 and mk6 like you want fit right on and no cutting needed.

I've watched a couple of these videos, yours is the first one that had exactly the same idea as mine to refabricate the wings, can I ask how long the whole process has taken? I wont be doing an engine swap so would like to pick your brains on the process of the front end conversion

I watched your vid on splicing the fender (seen in background above) & enjoyed it. At the time that Mongrel was in your possession, I get things went the way they did. As in Project Binky vids: it's because 'Things'. The Rules of Agreement are quite simple: 1. Don't agree to a bad deal. 2. Don't settle for less. 3. Spell out conditions & expectations. This includes time frame. 4. DO HONOR the Agreement at the cost of whatever else is needing your attention. I've failed at this as have everyone. These are lessons learned. I won't watch this, but I have no reason to hold ill will toward you for the outcome of that venture. I'm certain Urch has moved on. I'm loving his results! At the end of the day: His was his & was recovered. Case closed. Go forth & prosper!!!
