Go with the Gti honeycomb grill, or repaint in matte black. Headlights should be original MK 6 GTI also, it would be great!

Thanks. These headlights came up cheap second hand, I was originally looking for GTi ones, but got these to get everything together. I'll probably be changing them in the future.

Idk if you’ll see this but for the front day time running lights on the bumper did you split the wires onto the mk6r lights??

It looks like you'll have to fiddle with the front brackets a little more but its coming along nicely. Definitely the GTI grill will set it right. Are you staying black in colour???

Yeah, it all still needs a little more fiddling to get everything perfect. It's not staying black, but will still be a dark colour, and is staying a VW colour, just not one that was available on this. Will be revealing the colour soon 😁

Maybe will fit better front fenders from golf mk6 wagon, withou cutting, mk5 and mk6 wagons are same from the side...

Unfortunately it doesn't work on the Golf. You can use the front wagon fenders if you're doing this conversion to a Jetta, they line up perfectly, but the shape on the Golf door is different.

I had changed the lower arm rear bushes a while back, and when removing them the bolts snapped in the subframe. I had to drill them out and put nuts and bolts in, so wanted to revert back to the proper fixings as they suffer from a bit of movement. I'd like to get a deadset kit for it to stop any movement, but can always add that in the future.
