Indeed! However, designs within the fantasy genre are generally not known for their practicality. Take, for example, a legendary fantasy sword like the Ashbringer: It takes an adventurous imagination for it to work, but then it truly does! Kind regards | Mick

Our swords are designed to be wielded in LARP battle so yes, it would definitely hold up :D

Depends. Cavalery is for shield walls but isn't much effective in fighting infantry in formation with polearms. Warfare is basically rock paper scissors. Shields>archers>polearms>cavalery>shields ( of course there are lots of variables, this is very simplified)

@@josefptacek113 Agree. But I think it would be difficult for an infantary to punch a hole in the line of pikemen. The best tatic I know is Hammer and Anvil tatic, the cavalary go around the pikemen and attack from the side or back while the infantry keep them busy.

@@zawyethan Interesting discussion! Admittedly, my knowledge of war tactics is limited, but I did find the following statement by James M. Volo: "The primary purpose of the Landsknecht was to hack a way through the forests of pikes in an enemy formation. Landsknechte highly trained in the use of the two-handed sword were also qualified as Doppelsöldner. These were Landsknecht who volunteered to fight in the front line, taking on extra risk, in exchange for double payment. Seemingly one Landsknecht in four would be a Doppelsöldner. The Doppelsöldner of each company were usually issued with ranged weapons, such as a crossbow or an arquebus, and arranged in the wings of a square, in front of the pikemen. The Zweihänder were allegedly used to break through formations of pikemen by either swinging to break the ends of the pikes themselves or to knock them aside and attack the pikemen directly." Thank you for the enquiry. The strings by the lower legs of the warrior pants can be tied by crossing the string as with a boot. You can end with a bowknot or any knot of your preference. I personally prefer the reef knot. Hope this answers your question! Kind regards | Mick
