I understand people like the look, but i get hung up on how impractical it seems... only people/creatures who can't fix/replace their gear would leave it looking that beat up. Are you a goblin, bandit, or low intelligence? Ok fine, makes sense. Everyobe else? Its called 'maintenance' fix your stuff! But hey, yall do you.

Indeed! However, designs within the fantasy genre are generally not known for their practicality. Take, for example, a legendary fantasy sword like the Ashbringer: It takes an adventurous imagination for it to work, but then it truly does! Kind regards | Mick
