In my experience products of this type should be applied by brush, otherwise the fluid simply runs off !

We do recommend using a brush for some of our water repellents on our product data sheets. The problem with applying with a brush is that there is a tendency to over-apply the product. You just have to be careful not to do that and we try to steer people away from a brush application. Spraying is always better because you can control that better with fan tips and pressure, especially if you are a commercial applicator. Our product data sheets explain how to do that very well, and that’s why we want you to work form the bottom up, so the rundown that we recommend will soak back into the surface.

You can and it will temporarily kill the biological growth. But, it will return. Over time this will further erosion damage. When you use Prosoco revive with scrubbing and rinsing it kills the biological growth in the pores of the stone as well as lifting staining from the stone.

@@ProsocoSince1939 Why not do both-pressure wash it first, then scrub? In fact, it could make a great video showing the difference between just pressure washing, just scrubbing, and a combination of both.

hi. my water repellent sealer turn white the next day. i applied on concrete floor. any idea why?

That usually means you either over-applied the product or there was already a sealer on the concrete that repelled the water repellent. The only other thought is the floor was too smooth and didn’t allow it to penetrate properly. You should call Customer Care and ask for Technical since it could be any one of those things. 800-255-4255

It'll need to be stripped chemically or mechanically as the densifier will not penetrate the paint to get to the concrete.

This video started out perfectly. Just the information I was looking for as trying to determine which product to specify for my client. The side by side visual of each product installed and how much it changed the look of the block was spot on what I needed to know. But then it stops too soon. Did all of the products work equally well? Did the cleaner get the graffiti off the space between the coatings without any coating?

I dont think you need to polish SS. it should self level. But if you want a matte finish you need to scuff sand it.

I don't see how this is superior to Zip tape 😮 You accidentally swipe against it under your arm and then now it's all over your clothes. You drop some on the ground unknowingly, step in it, and now it's all over the floor

How should we proceed with stucco on wood frames? Expansion anchors or drilling/screwing into a stud?

When using the Stucco-Tie on wood framed projects, there is typically a layer of wood sheathing behind the stucco. While hitting the studs would provide additional tensile capacity due to the deeper embedment, the helical tie is still able to connect to the wood sheathing, providing a mechanical connection between the stucco and the backup.
