Good job, and thanks for the informative video/pics. I am currently building a 18x28 garage in Los Angeles Cal. All my framing and wall sheathing is complete, I tried to purchase pre-built roof trusses but everyone I contacted said I need professional drawings ($3,400.) from a contractor in order to purchase, so I built the two end trusses, and now I’m building the center pieces, I need 9 pcs. not counting the ends, way to much work for this old guy, although I have done everything on my own so far, now everything has slowed to a snails pace…sure wish I could have bought them finished 😩

I bought this nail gun as we were planning to renew all the fencing in our back garden. As this involved 19 double slatted fence panels, 10 of which needed to be cut down in size, we knew there would be a need for a great kzbin.infoUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt deal of re-stapling the wooden slats to the wooden framework. Each alteration required the re-stapling of 62 wooden slats with double staples. Prior to starting the work we ordered sufficient additional staples as per the instructions with the gun.The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires. The adjustable power was excellent allowing the staples to be fired into the 8mm slats to the correct depth. For the price paid this was a bargain and it proved itself to be so reliable and versatile making an arduous task much quicker and professional. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and it will be used on many other projects in the future.

I first started watching this video in 2017 and thought of it as a useful guide for my garage. It's funny how the costs have changed so drastically. I still have not finished my garage. All I have completed is my foundation and that cost me $13K alone. Project started December 2021. I live is South Texas too.

I think you mentioned it in the video but when roughing in the garage doors and the walk through door, do you make the opening an inch bigger than the size of the door? So a 10' wide garage door rough opening should be 10' 1"? Same for the height?

Are you kidding me? LP smart Siding is garbage. I just did a similar garage and the customer choose LP Smart Siding. What a pain in the ass. You have to install clips between pieces. Slow. You gave to paint any cut edges in the field. Any improperly sunk fasteners void the warranty, in fact, there are about 800 ways LP can wiggle out of the warranty. I don’t like it.

The eaves should have been enclosed. Every where you can see light shining in from outside is where high winds can get under the roof and simply peel it off. Same for the ends where they overhang. Otherwise pretty impressive on a budget.
