Ramset Concrete Nail Gun Review and Demonstration.

I bought this nail gun as we were planning to renew all the fencing in our back garden. As this involved 19 double slatted fence panels, 10 of which needed to be cut down in size, we knew there would be a need for a great kzbin.infoUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt deal of re-stapling the wooden slats to the wooden framework. Each alteration required the re-stapling of 62 wooden slats with double staples. Prior to starting the work we ordered sufficient additional staples as per the instructions with the gun.The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires. The adjustable power was excellent allowing the staples to be fired into the 8mm slats to the correct depth. For the price paid this was a bargain and it proved itself to be so reliable and versatile making an arduous task much quicker and professional. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and it will be used on many other projects in the future.

Use a hammer drill to drill the hole in the concrete then use 2 or 3 4"nail spikes and your trusty hammer to pound them into the concrete. Yup.

Regarding 0:26, actually it is not a .22 caliber "bullet". Instead it is a .22 caliber rimfire brass cartridge which contains an explosive propellant powder charge. This blank cartridge fires internally at the nail which becomes the actual projectile that is driven into the concrete target.

Can definitely be converted into one with some planning and simple tools. You do need a .22 barrel but a 5.5mm explosion proof tube from ebay will do just fine. You could have a .22-25 where youre using a .22blank to shoot a .25 cal projectile could also be .25-22. Youll need a 6,35mm explosion proof tube for that. Note that .22 cal is not .22, its 0.218 so youll have to do something about that

@@huntemall219 I built walls in my basement and used one of these. Some concrete spots are harder than others and the nail wouldn't drive as far down. A friend told me just load another 0.22 load in and shoot it again. Great advice too. Saved another nail and drove the nail down just fine!

What do you mean by that? Ive been in construction for 24 years, the last 7 as a GC, and Ive seen nothing inferior with wood construction as long as its built properly. Spent 10 years in commercial work, and its true that we rarely used wood for those, but from a resistance stand point its fine. Do they use aluminum studs where you are?

It has a safety on it. You must press the tip of the 'gun' on to a hard surface or it will not fire. To shoot a person you would have to stand next to them and press it where there is bone right below the surface of the skin. I suppose the safety could be disengaged.
