I love coming back to this one and the 500 video occasionally. As a relapsed NASCAR addict (didnt watch but a few races for like 10 years) it feeds my sickness once the off season starts.

I never could get over how much difference his engine would sound than any other car on the track when you heard that engine you knew Jr was coming!

Awesome, keep them coming, we rode in most of the races during second half of career. Beyond cool to ride in the Bud 8. Bristol 04 would be a sick ride along if it exists.
@kraderrader3444 Жыл бұрын
the shot in victory lane with all the cameras pointed at the car is timeless. let's bring this back, front stretch interviews have robbed us of this avalanche of excitement with the teams and press.

I'll never forget this race, but we had a few more get away at that track. Still sick over the fall race in 04.

It’s wild how good that car responded to a push. The closer someone got to the rear bumper, the higher the motor revved. I still can’t figure out which car was the most dominant at Daytona…..this one, or sterling marlin’s car from 2002. It could get shoved out to a 5 car lead and it could maintain, much like Jr’s car from 2004.

you can see the bud stickers layered on top of each other like jr pointed out on twitter the other day, reflects the air over the camera better and creates less drag

This race is what got me interested in nascar, seeing the headline on the front page of the newspaper hooked up on my fridge seeing the picture of you and the 20 side by side. First race I got to see was your atlanta win just a few weeks later
