It’s a great furnace, I was just using mine over the weekend. Seems to be best to just set it at 1150 and leave it there. 🔥🦈🌊

is pouring other things like copper any different than working with silver?

Copper melts at a higher temperature, so it cools faster, it also pours thicker. Silver is a lot more nimble and easier to work with. I’ve seen people doing aluminum pouring, that stuff looks sticky, like taffy, but you don’t need to get it very hot to melt. 🔥🦈🌊
