Great items guys. Earbuds organizer is exactly what I was looking for

I think honest feedback helps us all a lot to improve. The first 3 have a mediocre, cheap look, but the shoe stand is actually great. The mesh gives an exciting look to it. Having limited resources, like color and material, the texture and interesting and intricate shapes can make all the difference.

Had to 3D print a tool to open the access hole on the gas tank of my Volkswagen. Printed tools to adjust the carburetor on my weed eater. Several things, have fun

4:00 can't someone just use a caliper to get diameter? if you're into 3D printing, you probably have caliper by now right? or you could even 3D print a simple caliper and use that for more things than just radius.
@PMPrints12 күн бұрын
We actually have calipers, but they aren't always effective. In the case of the Chap Stick, Calipers would work because it is perfectly round. However, we had a broken baseboard piece on our wall the other day and we couldn't use calipers to get a good read so we ended up using a radius gauge instead. This allowed us to fit a replacement cleanly into place.

Yeah, the clamp is useless for real world work that the Irwin is designed for and is waaaaay slower. The vice has the same problem. The utility blade is also not the same tool. The 3d printed one is a box cutter. The utility knife is not.
@jameshunter408313 күн бұрын
You’re not proving anything by holding a glasses case closed. Irwin clamps, and other clamps like that, are used in construction, woodworking, etc. I would have tried a bit more of a serious example.
@PMPrints13 күн бұрын
We honestly had no better example to use my 3D printed clamps on because we aren’t familiar with woodworking. The printed clamps are not as strong as the Irwin clamps but we still found them helpful becuase our projects typically don't require strong clamping strength. We appreciate your feedback and will try to use better examples.
@icyhotonmynuts11 күн бұрын
@PMPrintsAlso to point out, the Irwin clamp can be used one handed. In this example you used one hand to hold it, and one to clamp. Whereas your clamp you had to use your hand to hold the case, your torso to brace it and then the other hand to clamp it. Try making yours one handed or something of equivalent function. It's not a proprietary technology, lots of tools have the stepper movement.

what business can one do with 3d printer?
@PMPrints18 күн бұрын
3D Printers are actually very good at starting small businesses because they allow you to easily manufacture 3D Models/Products you create. For example, let’s say you create a hose attachment on your printer that is really popular. While the demand is increasing the money you generate might not be enough to justify renting/buying a manufacturing facility or outsourcing it. So a good alternative would be setting up 3D printing “print farms” as they are pretty simple to maintain and are relatively inexpensive. Also there are services you can offer where people can reach out to hire you to 3d print a custom solution to a problem that person might be having. An example website you can look at is engineezy.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopldkOhLD-63HLrW034ub6gPOR1z4CVKDjAslQh6EzP7xj47SQW. This is made by the youtuber Engineezy (we aren’t affiliated with them we just think its a very well done website). There are different things you can do, sell, and different audiences you can appeal to, but this generally encapsulates the idea, at least, this is what we know when it comes to business with a 3D Printer. I hope that this answers your question but now thinking about it I might have misunderstood you. If you mean business as in like what can you do that makes a 3D Printer worth it than I will answer that now: What really reeled us into 3D Printing was the first time we 3D modeled something. We had come up with a solution to wobbly school desks of any size/leg. Nothing made out of hard plastic existed, there were only silicone and small fiber pad substitutes. And when you watch it print something that basically has never existed before and you hold it in your hand it is genuinely surreal. Like something that was in my brain only, it didn’t exist was just birthed into reality in less than a day. It’s a surreal feeling, which I still feel to this day. To add, If you are a crafty, practical, or DIY person I think this is really good too. In my house, I have worked with my dad to solve a lot of problems that our house was having by 3D Printing solutions.

I have not had the same experience with my A1 and AMS Lite, which I've owned for about a month now. First, Let's start with the phone app because it causes many of the problems listed below. Bambu Lab is adamant that ALL users are going to use their app. It's a free app, it doesn't make them any money, so there must be another reason they are so adamant. Most likely, they are stealing data from their customers phones and selling it to up their profit margin. They are so adamant that they punish their customers who don't install their app. BIG PROBLEM! Second, Bambu's video guide is wrong. If you are smart enough to not install the app then there is no way you can follow the video guide and get the printer working. Third, If you are smart enough to not install the app then your only other choice is to use "LAN Only Mode", which the video guide does not tell you. In this mode you have severely limited communication to the printer from the Studio program. 1 -You can not access the files that are stored on the printer, gcode, video, ect... 2 -You can not reprint models you have already printed from Studio without slicing them and sending them again. I find more things I'm blocked from being able to do just about every time I use the printer. Fourth, LAN ONLY MODE. Even when forced to use the LAN Only Mode the A1 will refuse to connect to it if there is no internet access. Something else that's not documented anywhere. I can't be the only person on the planet that keeps their printers in a shop with limited internet access. This is one of the most ridiculous limitations they could have added. Fifth, The A1 is SLOW. Yes, it moves fast when it is printing but... It takes six minutes before it starts any prints. It spends a huge amount of time purging and reloading filament. Even if you are only using one spool of filament the A1 will still stop printing from time to time, move the print head to the side, and just sit for a while. I have no idea why. I have tested it's speed by starting prints of the same model on the A1 and my old CR10 at the same time. The CR10 finishes the model faster every time. Sixth, Something you did mention. The camera is a fricking joke. Bambu Lab should be ashamed to include such a piece of crap when those cameras cost so little. Seventh, It waste much, much, much, more filament than could ever be justified. They first purge filament into the poo bin, then do it again, so they already know the new filament is loaded. Then they print a "Purge Tower" when they already completed all the purge needed. Even if the purge tower was needed it's much larger than it needs to be. They always claim that it's to be sure the printer is always ready with new filament, but since Bambu Lab sells filament the only reasonable explanation for wasting so much is to add to the profit margin. And last, back to that idiotic app. Bambu Lab punishes their customers who don't infect their phones with the app making their products not worth buying. Having the limited connection with the printer but still being forced to provide internet access for the printer is too far past the line of reason. I paid the same amount of money for my printer as everyone else but I don't have near the same features as everyone else, and in most countries this is illegal. I've spoken with a lawyer and am currently waiting to see what steps to take next. So, at least until we see if Bambu Lab survives or gets sued into oblivion, I would recommend no one else buy any of their printers.
@PMPrints18 күн бұрын
I want to first say that we weren’t sponsored by Bambu Lab for this video this is just our experience with the printer. And we are sorry to hear about the bad experience you had, but regardless we still think that for beginners the printer comes with decent benefits even with the disadvantages we addressed in the video and that you said in your comment. In the long term as people with this printer become further accustomed to 3D Printing they might consider a new printer, but that is for them to ultimately decide. We really appreciate the comment though because I think it’s good to present both sides of the coin, especially in a video that reviews the product.
@unclerichard672918 күн бұрын
@PMPrints I apologize for ranting in your comment section, I was in a mood yesterday. But I suppose it is better that your viewers know in advance what they are getting into if they don't have constant internet access for their A1 or if they don't install the app.

Love it, I'd mess around with the width (from L-R, not F-B) and you'll eventually get it, I was having issue after issue with my Alto Cases , V1, V2, and Armour Series, but eventually got them all after days and weeks of tinkering with the design and trial and error in the real world
@PMPrintsАй бұрын
Yeah your right. I’m going to do that before I upload my design on maker world.
@BuiltByLines3DАй бұрын
@ On my armour case, I had some people test it for a day, week, and month and let me know their thoughts on how I could improve, well after a week, I ended up releasing the product on Etsy, unfortunately I only sell my V1-v2 case models as they have been out for months and have earned enough from selling product to cover the time it took to design those, armour case I’m waiting a little longer Speaking of testing, I’d love to test and improve on the wallet if you’re open to that-I currently use a binder clip for all of my cards and $ 😂 and it’s a little worn down from daily use for the last 3-4 years

Yeah sure, when we release the model files we would appreciate feedback as long as you don’t sell the wallet as we want to keep it free for now.

Great video. One tip: If you tick the "AMS filament backup" box in the AMS setting (i think this is set on by default), the AMS lite will automatically change to another spool with the same profile and color mounted on the AMS lite. This works fine, but on some spools the filament is fixed to the spool by tape or other means, and in this case you get an error message and have to cut the filament before the print continues. The good thing is that you never end up with a lot of spools with just a little filament on them. The whole length of the filament is used.
@PMPrintsАй бұрын
Ok thanks, that’s something we’ll have to check because that’s pretty useful.
