Same here. They took down my entire album because one song was botted by Chartmob. So I paid to put it back up. two weeks later, botted again. Same song. So I reported that. A few weeks later again another song now botted. All by Chartmob. All reported. Then yesterday, I open my CdBaby profile and see I have been fined $10.49. They have not even addressed the two others yet they are so new. So now waiting for the ax to fall again. I am about just to pull all my music. This is too stressful and they don't believe you when you tell them you had nothing to do with it. Not to mention now I am out over $20 for just the first time.

I noticed that a lot of people are experiencing this with Finland. Yesterday, Spotify told me that someone added artificial streams to my song. Lately, I I've been worried about putting music on Spotify period. When I reached out, they seemed like they did not want to even listen to me and it was annoying. We work so hard to put our music out and who would've guessed we have to battle fake accounts.

They removed one of my songs as well now. This is completely frustrating. Why go after small artists and dont simply delete fake playlists?! In your case it's even more frustrating, because you have been actively trying to prevent this situation. At this point I think we have to get together and unionize...

Sorry to hear you have the same situation. As you can see there are a few comments saying the same thing has happened to us all. I guess there is something much larger going on and that they really do not care one bit about independent artists. I agree, artists should get together but sadly I doubt anyone cares enough about it! Have you tried re uploading your song with the same ISRC but different length of the audio file? I have not tried this, yet

@@Vekken I think you are definetly right! This is coorparate music trying to remove small musicians from accessing money they want to keep in their pockets, most likely. Benn Jordan made a great video about this issue. I haven't tried yet, but they already announced to me that they can't approve the song in the future "as stores won't allow this" They might detect the song very fast.

@@Vekken Yes and one of those things I believe and also speaking to other industry people is it coming down to minimise royalty payments after a record breaking $4 billion in royalty payments to the independent artist community last financial year. There's also a LOT more at play but this being one of them.

it's actually insane how you dont have more listeners. ive played twilight live so many times and it never gets old. absolutely love the extended mix and the radio edit was my most played track on apple music back in may (i still listen ton to it on a regular basis and it might even get on my apple replay of 2024). you and rory did an amazing job on this track and iim so happy to have found this gem as well as your channel

Sweden. Back To Life got to 105 plays on Apple Music within 72 hours (I added it to my library on the 18th LMAO) and on LastFM it says that I’ve listened to it 205 times (Apple Music says 140 but idk if AM counts the amount of times I’ve listened to it on my phone). Anyways, Back To Life is defo gonna be my most listened song this month, and it’ll no doubt take the spot for the most listened track within a month (current spot is held by Dear Old Friend at 142). And I’ll defo listen to Dreamers a lot too. All three tracks are prob gonna make themselves onto my Apple Music Replay one way or another. Oh yeah, I’m also looking forward towards the Vekken merch. Defo gonna grab myself a shirt.

It really does. It has so much more energy with its current drop. The other drop sounded more like a filler if anything (nowhere near as powerful). But I still think it has potential in a different track since it’s a nice melody.

The same thing happened to me & I didn’t pay for streams!! I noticed a playlist from Finland caused a spike in the streams & then 2 weeks later, my song was being taken down. I re-uploaded the song to Spotify & used the original ISRC. The song is back on now but the artificial streams re-appeared so I’m nervous it will get taken down again :(

took a day or two from the first emails, they sent 3 overnight within a couple hours - then the track was offline. so frustrating! and yeah, playlist still up and scamming people

Hey where did u make the complaint? well my song is constantly getting added to weird bot playlist like yours..i just reported against these playlist adds on spotify for artist itself ..using the help option.. .good to hear your song is back...hope spotify rectifies these issues and the artist should have 100% control over playlist adds..
