I got it made at AAA COOPER. Dedicated driver, 4 days a week M-T, home every night. Guaranteed 40 hrs a week even though I only put in 32 to 34 a week. I set my route up and the time I come in. Answer only to the terminal manager... No dispatch headaches! 33.40 hr. I'm not going anywhere else, I know when I've got it good.

More & more drivers coming forward with stories from Schneider,,, i think they where a little strong in what they did to you,,, it's a simple mistake no one is perfect,, no one was hurt,, damage to equipment was mim. none of the load was spilled ,,, so learn from your mistake & go on down the road to a better company,,, Schneider is the one to loose,,,

That drop was the best thing that could've happened to you. Nobody got hurt. It's funny how Schneider kept a guy who manuevered lane changes that caused a fatality, and cost them 47 million dollars but they let you go probably because they wanted to put a rookie in your seat to save them a few bucks. Like Ive said, dont use them as a stepping stone because you'll be stepping in shit.

All those companies are a damn rip off including Saia. OT after 45, not 40.
@wmona0013 ай бұрын
It's weird how they're allowed to do that but even if they paid no OT, Saia is paying $30/hr Estes $34 and all the other local jobs (except fuel) are only paying $20-25 so in comparison it's like you're getting OT all of the time anyway.

The good thing about Schneider is that when you are new , you just got your cdl , no body would be courages enough to hire you. Schneider will be like come on in , welcome we train you we give you our experience trucks our time and our people to help you begin your journey. The pay is low at Schneider but for you as a new driver, all you want is that experience.
@R.O.T.C._SEEM5 ай бұрын
Tried them first and they did me dirty during orientation. Literally passed everything and was on the second to last day. The head instructor told me and another guy to get in his truck to just drive. That was the first red flag. After I got back he told me to park the truck. Parked it in the spot with no problem then he told me to move it to another spot. After I did that he told me I was doing anything to get it in. He made me back all day the next day but every time he would come up with some bs like, if something was there you would have hit the imaginary thing. Ended up dropping me. My theory is that the person they had to take me out on the truck flaked on them or something so they just decided to get me out. It was people literally hitting trailers backing in and missing turns on the road test but somehow my backing was bad.
