Doyle Bramhall 2 is awesome as well. Came from Arc Angels. Remember them? One of my all time favorite records. DB2, Charlie Sexton and Double Trouble.

Really? It’s not like old sports legends…these guys are all still the giants in their respective genres. The curious thing is I took at look at your profile pic and you’re a middle aged dude and their contemporaries…glass houses…ya know. I will give you Phil Collin’s is t looking too spry haha. But all these guys fill the same arenas as Taylor Swift and Shakira and Beyoncé….and some can out sell those broads. So I do t get your comment at all.

Love it when Rod and EC call JD up for his “solo”. JD thinking oh no,this is going to be embarrassing. He kinda stumbles up flails the guitar around and awkwardly manages a few “chords”? or something. He had no business up there and he knew it.

Christmas wine brought me here, I remember years ago around this time BBC played Jeff live at Ronnie Scott, i still remember it, Jeff Beck is favourite guitarist of david gilmour and played guitar on amused to death by roger waters that called working with jeff as religious experience. Gilmour left a message calling him my friend and hero after hearing about his death. Rest in peace

seeing johnny depp on stage with Derek Trucks , makes me annoyed....Derek is such a real guitar player and Depp is really a wannabe, poser...but please......i know...blah blah....please continue...... i saw clapton in cream in nyc in 1968 and hendrix 3 times as a toddler but thats neither here or there...

the only reason Depp is there is due to his celebrity status and friendship with Beck. As a guitar player,,no...he bends his body and legs well though when he is hitting some chords. Lets isolate his play just to see what the hell he is playing.
