If you aren't into wetsanding, I would recommend Minwax 'Wipe-On Poly. It makes a pretty smooth finish, and even if you use the 'm,atte' finish it comes out really smooth and velvety feeling, and can be buffed to a gloss, but not a traditional guitar shine. I would always use 2K clearcoat and wetsand/polish/buff on my next kit. It comes waaayy closer to a pro finish.

Great drop. We'll take it! A friend of mine taped the Sacramento ( 11/17/1988 ) show at Arco Arena ( my first Van Halen show ). In that show, they jam -in the middle of " You Really Got Me " -with the verse/chorus riffs from " Pleasure Dome, " YEARS before it appeared on the F.U.C.K. album. The 1988 shows had some AMAZING concert moments that I wish they captured officially ( the 1989 Tokyo show is great but rumors are that Warners is remastering that show for Blu-ray when the OU812 remaster expanded edition comes out next year ).,

I have a 1990 Special. I wonder how these models would feel to me. I know PRS have excellent QC compared to another big guitar company… *cough, Gibson cough*… But I would love to play and hear one myself, because my PRS has spoilt me rotten with its playability and quality through all these many years.

Way cool 🤘, I was 28 that year, this brings back a LOT of great memories, I've been a VH fan since their first album, I think I was 17 still when I heard that in 78 and although I have a handful and a half of guitar heros the one that tops the heap is Eddie, I think he's the one who really made me want to learn guitar. Thank you for sharing this!!! R.I.P. Eddie you are truly missed but you live on in our hearts. Thanks again Marty, have a great rest of the weekend 🤘

October 15th, 1988 Syracuse, NY! How cool! Thanks for sharing this! If this doesn't time warp you back to 1988, man... They came to Ohio in June 88 for a 2 day concert, Monsters of Rock at the Akron Rubber Bowl. 1st day was a beautiful day, 2nd day hottest day in Ohio history 103 degrees! They were spraying the crowd with hoses, the FD was there. Talk about a Hot Summer Night!

Boston is truly the greatest rock band in history. Tom Scholz doesn’t get enough credit for the crazy writing skills he has. The fact that when he had an idea for a guitar sound that didn’t exist, he would create his own sound machines to make the sound. And Brad Delp on vocals is just the cherry on top. His harmonies are unbeatable

So many dislike ou812 even though 5150 was more pop... OU812 had so much variety and complexity to it. Sure, production was barely serviceable at best, but the songwriting was still there, even better than 5150 in my opinion! If you're a musician, you appreciate this album, thats all there is to it. I was born in 07... I sure as hell wish i was old enough to see them live with prime dave and sammy! Best i'll ever get are these bootlegs, pro footage, and the best of all worlds sammy tour which i did get to see. It was great, but not the same. Thanks for uploading this marty! This is a top 3 tour of theirs for me! Im also happy many others got to see vh live!
