does 'Juliet Bravo' stand for anything?? why was it picked as the title?? there is no character by that name. All I could find was 'Foxtrot Juliet Bravo', which is radio alphabet for the letters FJB, which in turn is shorthand for those who don't like the current occupant of the White HOuse.

I was a Rocker back then in 1966 except that I was skint and could only afford a used 250 cc Honda and no leather except boots just canvas jacket like a Mod so I was a Mod Rocker hybrid, I was a Mocker (really I was just Rocker though, that was my bunch except Ronnie Wybrow).

What's the difference between this one and Heartbeat ? Is it basically just that this one doesn't have Claude Greengrass ? The problem at 10:07 is she went to Montreal instead of emigrating to Toronto like I did 1973 where we have the no-stop Night Life. Those French blokes in Montreal are all fast asleep by 9 pm The Divisional Superintendent is also DCI Reg Wexford's Superintendent.

Almost everyone in these episodes is bitter or nasty or rude or cold, which is how I found people in London in 1972. The city was shabby and dirty as well

Making a baby actor cry for effect is utterly disgusting, even for the 80's,

I miss the old game rooms, I'm glad I was a teenager in the 80's. The only draw back to that is that I'm moving in to my senior years in this he|| hole we call the 21st century. Thanks for sharing this series it's a great look back in time.

Hard seeing a favorite actor of mine (James Grout) in such an abhorrent part. A demonstration of his enormous skill in the role. Do l see a long misery for staff? They’ll work around him l suspect. 😊

The mother like this make worse society. Who can't live on their own for their children's sake. Instead want to make their own life a happy one. Their own life goes down the drain and also their children's life. I know a family. The son eventually got himself killed and daughter is done with two husbands. The husband (orginal one) is six feet under and left another girl child he dad with another lady. And the protagonist our princess diana now cries how life has been so hard for her.

The superintendent is deliberately trying to police by fear or favour, in the most disgusting way possible. Attempting to brown nose his superior, whilst instilling fear in those under his command. Clearly a very corrupt character...!

Just a carbon copy of the Bill!! Don't know why ITV didn't do a medical spin off of the Bill to even the scores with the BBC! probably because most episodes of the Bill will include officers at At Hugh's A&E as part of a case!

Can't help wondering if Roy had not gone away for those three months, him and Arlene would have gotten 'serious', then she would have helped her mum get rid of the git she was living with, my late great Mother raised seven children all while in fear of a lousy waste of space, who not only beat her and worse, but beat up his sons and daughters as well. Don't suppose there's anything in the form of a follow up, like a book version? Nowadays, it would be part one of a three part arc or something, highlighting domestic abuse and child neglect, although, in the case of Arlene, she was technically not a child anymore. It is hard to not wonder what happened next, and I don't just mean in the next episode either. Thanks for uploading, decent drama doesn't always get repeated on telly, so it's good you got it on KZbin.
