brushless is as easy as swaping to wires, to rewerse the direction. a "prerunner" should allways land front high, hence the long travel in the back those a 2 very well build trucks and i can imagein you got lots of fun driveing them..

Hey this was a great video! I recently got the itch to get or build a pre runner/trophy truck rig. On a serious budget though and the Kyosho or the Proline kit on an SCX10 chassis are my top 2. This was a perfect vid for me to see. However I have one critique… I would have enjoyed getting your personal take on which you preferred for what style driving and why. Would love to have your feedback on the IFS vs IB… like how they stack up against each other. Both look great, perform great. Would like a bit more droop on the IB set up as already mentioned. Glad I found ya tho. Really enjoyed this one and gladly subbed! 👍😎
@UnchartedRCАй бұрын
@@JFlyer1973 thanks for watching and commenting! I should and will do a follow up video on the two to give a more in depth opinion. Short version, the outlaw rampage does drive, jump, and perform better being a dedicated chassis. The I beam kit does look awesome though! To really get the I beam kit to perform well I built an open diff axle with Smt10 open diffs that are getting increasingly harder to find. Both are a lot of fun but for overall performance I think the Kyosho is better.
@JFlyer1973Ай бұрын
@@UnchartedRC very interesting to hear that. I know a lot of folks, myself included don’t like the non-scale MOA, but you can’t deny its heavier rear axle set up and the benefit it provides to the intended goal. I absolutely love watching the Kyosho in slow mo as it looks so scale. More travel in the IB and batter balance and the Proline SCX10 is right there. Which one you think you have more $ wrapped up into? If you do t mind me asking. I’m on a budget or I would probably get the Baja Rey 2.0. But money spent to tweak these 2 to where they need to be are you still spending over $500? Still thinking the Kyosho with a cost effective brushed set up will be the least expensive but getting some of the best results. Can’t wait for your next vid on these 2! 😎😎😎

A great outing with a perfect truck! Keeping in mind that the perfect truck is whichever truck you're driving at the moment. Heck, every truck is a perfect truck to somebody. Heheh, I said 'some body'... get it?.
@UnchartedRCАй бұрын
Hahahaha very true. Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers 🎉
@guest6423Ай бұрын
For the tinkerers, maybe it's good that there aren't perfect scale options. I kinda like that it takes work to make a very realistic scale truck. Let everyone else be happy with wheels, axles, and bodies that are 'off'. I'm going to cut, hack, glue, and braze until I get close enough to 'perfect'. Hey, really nice job on the video, and I always look forward to your next video.... Oh, one question: If/when you're not filming, do you drive more slowly? I drive very slowly, but realize that it doesn't cause the suspension movement that looks so realistic once the video is slowed. I'm not filming, so no need to go quickly. Just a thought I had. Thanks again!
@UnchartedRCАй бұрын
@@guest6423 thanks for watching and commenting! You’re spot on, the tinkering aspect of this hobby is one of the best. As for your question, I find that when I’m just messing around with my truck when I’m not filming, my driving habits are pretty similar. I’m usually thinking about how I could film this or how it would look to be filmed so I try to keep my driving pretty consistent. Cheers!
