Bruh come on, people have gotten that 1/4 time on the previous performance 3 Tesla... My tune and downpipe only 740i G11 is faster doing 11.24 at 124 mph tho I am on E30 tune

Living in the UK and having bought the 2024 EU M3P you really can't moan about how fast it is - having never owned an EV before. Yes it's a shame it's not as brutal as the US version but with the US batteries degrading slower; i think that's a fair trade off. The performance is identical as the older M3P's, but the adaptive suspension, bucket seats and far better exterior styling makes it well worth it.

Very thorough as always. Thank you! With 100 N/mm front and 50 N/mm back it's very close to the OE ratio. Slightly compensating understeer which is perfect I think, probably better than 100/40 from the EU kit. But that's theory ..... How do they perform on the road? They are pretty much on top of my own list, but with such a price tag, I would love to hear your excellent opinion.

Yes Model 3 with Panas is faster but also degrades twice as fast (10% ) as M3 with LGs (5%)

@@Themazcornergetting rear ended at 70kmh probably had something to do with it, though I can’t be fully sure. It caused a really rough idle though, engine shaking like it was only running on 3 cylinders suspended by rope. That and some really strange side effects that have gone away now it’s all fixed up.

@@ethanrushbrook3314 ohh no, hope you did not sustain any physical injuries! That would for sure be the root cause. The mounts are supposed to break in order to minimize damage. Hope everything else also got sorted!

thanks mate! Glad you like it and sorry for the late response! From a sound perspective it was a rather big step also visually! However the sound will not be as the US counterparts as we do have the GPFs. I think with the Borla/Corsa catbacks our cars are like how the US counterparts are with only H/X-pipe(maybe not even that loud). But it did sound great! I sold mine for 12k SEK which is not even 1K GBP (only one guy that was interested back then....) If you remove the cat and res on the MX5 it will more or less be as loud with an aftermarket axle back :D

Whow ! It looks amazing ! That bronze is perfect, better than the white I think. I am looking for a set of wheels for my ND too. It's a hard choice between looks and weight. If I spend that kind of money I'd like to drop some unsprung weight and for the looks you need to go bigger which even with lighter alloys, once you add the weight of the wider tire you end up pretty much back with the oem weight. Since I don't track the car and drive it fast mainly on very bumpy narrow country roads with rough surface I don't want to stray too far from stock specs. I read someone mentioned ultralight OZ Allegeritas in 17/7 . Those don't have the looks of these but save 2kg per corner. Different approach.... Thanks for the great video it's very informative and has helped me make up my mind.... I'll go with bronze as well 😉

Forgot to mention PPF cost about 10% - 20% of the entire cost of the car to install. Would be cheaper to buy the damaged parts

I mention the cost but not specifics as it depends on how much film, what type of film ,the installer and which region. However with that said with what I installed on the Tesla it was 3.5% of the cars cost, the MX5 7.5%, my Mustang 4.7% The problem with finding a good paint shop then on top to get panels color matched is a real pain. Also getting parts painted is expensive as well. However this also depends on the region.

I see a lot of ppl are disappointed and wanting the US battery. yes, performance suffers BUT the longevity of the battery is better using the LG battery. That's the trade off. US batteries are known to have high deg early on. Unless you're thinking about trading/leasing your car every 3 years....I'd rather get this than panasonic.

PPF is snake oil. Unless you’ve got a pathological aversion to painting a car don’t do it IMO. It doesn’t make any financial sense unless on hypercars where it probably adds value .

Ciao Maz. Mmm.. i don't like Tesla, i can't stand their philosophy. Electric cars fir rich people. In my opinion electric cars have sense only if they are city cars, light and really eco. The Mazda is the queen in your garage for me.

Thank you! I have no legions with any brand or model. For me I needed a somewhat fun car for daily driving that is not totally impractical and that is not to expensive This time around the coin flipped on the Model 3. Next time it sill be something else. The only thing atm not 100 right for me with the Model 3 is cargo capacity dor e.g. buying longer joists, going to ikea etc. One does not have to exclude the other 👊

Super powerfull and heavy electric cars are just not the way for a more eco world. I don't like lies made by a lot of marketing. The only way, nowadays, for going smartly electric are small, light city cars. The rest is only electric status symbol for welthy people. The ones wich cannot effort a fancy car still buy only endothermic cars. Seriously rich people buy good, beautiful and 12 cilinders noisy cars. Here in Italy very few people is interested in electric cars and only because the state helps giving discounts on those. When electric cars will be really " smart " and aeroplanes, boats and lorries will go electric then maybe i will consider having one. No bullshits till then

Sold the QJs, they worked really well. But considering the price difference here in Sweden there are many 3t scissor lifts that are very close in price. However that puts a bit more on available space etc potentially.
