I really hate this feature. And stopped to use app. It doesn't work. And it’s not clear how to make it work. You press the microphone and nothing happens. Powerful demotivation. We didn't provide any examples of use. And once upon a time it was a great application for the iPhone. And no option for exclude membot-beta. Not good.

Bring back community courses/ flash cards natively on the app. This app has gone really down hill with these changes so many people invested a lot of time, energy, and effort into making flashcards and contributing to the community and the decisions you have made as a company have been a huge slap in the face to your users. BRING BACK COMMUNITY COURSES/FLASHCARDS!!!!!!!!!

Can you not add courses anymore? Before the update I was using this 5000 most commonly used spanish words course but now it’s gone.

Just came here to say I cancelled my subscription, paid member since 2014. You just go and delete community courses? The arrogance! I was top 5 all time of the Ultimate Kanji course, ~33.2 million points, 8459 cards completed, plus the other courses. Probably about 100 million points in total. In other words, a lot of time and effort. And then, you just come along with your arrogance from head office for people justifying their crappy jobs. Bye memrise - should have just used anki all along. I will decided how I learn Japanese - not you.

Maybe this works for English and Spanish, but the more you go down the list of less widely spoken languages, the worse this feature gets. The problem is the AI is so emphatic when presenting this information you have no idea if it’s right or not.

agree. This non-working function too often run and demotivates students.

following duolingo's lead by not listening to your community and removing community courses isn't great. As a developer, I understand deadlines, but it's better to delay a release than to push an incomplete update. Users' needs should come first. Your website's lack of responsiveness is astounding. Steering users towards community courses on a non-responsive platform is bound to lose you clients. Idk if it's a dev team issue, but as a front-end developer, I could fix these issues. User experience should be a priority. I've spent countless hours creating high-quality community courses with helpful resources, audios and images, all to benefit the community and myself. Now, it feels like all that effort has been discarded. Disappointed and disheartened. Thank you
