Your videos awesome I’ve been a painter for a while, but I haven’t done removal of a popcorn ceiling and what I saw today that was so cool at Home Depot. They have ceiling paint that’s pink that dries bright white so you know you didn’t miss any spots.

The other trick when painting the ceiling, the first coat you should go One Direction like long way of the room how you painted an the second coat you should go the other way and then you will cover everything

Regulations in the 1970s and 1980s limited asbestos use in new products. Older homes built before the 1980s may be more likely to have asbestos. But stockpiles of asbestos materials may have found their way into homes until the 1990s.

I can't stand flat paint. But I can't stand glossy either. I really enjoy eggshell paint. It isn't matte and chalky looking but it's not all glossy like or has thick layers of paint that will peel right off

I've had the Mavic Air 2 for 4 years now and I can't complain, it's an excellent drone! I'm looking into upgrading to the Air 3 and this video is making my decision a lot easier, especially the low-light shooting advantages of the Air 3. Great video and thank you so much!

I almost WISH I had popcorn ceilings instead of this stupid texture ceilings...the popcorn looks like it easier to get off and leaves the least amount of damage after removal

Sorry man - but you contradict yourself... First you declare that shooting JPAG is very fast - as camera only need to store the JPEG on the card. Ok. I wander - what os faster - to render the JPEG from RAW or just save the RAW on the card? As we now have two operations - convert from RAW to JPEG and then store JPEG... Ok, go next. White balance. Yes - you spot it - if it is screwed when you shoot the scene - JPEG is ruined. But not RAW. So you get us an advise to shoot RAW + JPEg... Nice! What about timing to write both RAW and JPEG to the card? I do admit, if you shoot something that you do not care much as an image - then yes - you can shoot JPEG. But if you really care about every shoot you produce - then you certainly will not shoot JPEG, as RAW gives you all the necessary tools to make the image that you imagined rather than what camera produced for you. It will be like Ansel Adams after developing his film print it just using different grades - without any burning/dodging manipulation. And this is what you advocating. RAW file - is the processed film. How you will print it - this is what defines you personal imagination. Shooting JPEG - is a lazy way to get result that you may like - but may not.

I think you misunderstood my message. Shooting JPG works when you need a high volume of images to select from or if you have very short turnaround time, for example shooting photos at a live event that you hand off to social media mangers to utilize. Some cards also aren't fast to handle high RAW image write speeds so JPG is a way around that if you need to shoot a ton of images (like in sports photography).

Great video! However, any tips on removimg the popcorn if it has been painted over? The water trick doesn't seem to work as the paint won't allow the water to saturate. Also, an angled brush will help cut the paint into the corners if you won't be painting the walls.

I don't think a drywall sander is going to work if your popcorn has been painted. Before accepting the fact that I had to scrape I tried the sander and even with 40 grit discs it just wasn't working.

Great video. A 5 gallon bucket and grid are so much easier to work with. Also, to eliminate irregularities where wall meets ceiling, caulk it. The caulk reduces the irregularities(gap, texturing, etc) so you can “cut” a clean paint line between wall and ceiling. Saves time and looks a lot better.
