AUDREY A <USA SAGRADA DIVINA OCULTISTA ETERNA E IMORTAL

I have an issue with how whenever a woman isn’t a full blown curvy hourglass or pair shaped they refer to the body type as boyish. Audrey was not boyish nothing abt her screams boy. She has an extremely doe eyed and feminine face and yes her body isn’t curveous but not everyone woman’s body is and it doesn’t make them boyish. I can’t believe people so casually think this phrase is ok. Not only is it demeaning to call a woman’s body boyish, but it’s also creepy. No grown person wants to be described as a child. There’s this strange notion that in order to look womanly you have to have curves which is so strange because every woman looks different some are curvy some are not and they are all womanly because they are woman.

I first saw this movie when I was a kid back in the early 80s when they showed a midnight movie on a Saturday night. I was just about ready to turn the TV off and go to bed when this movie bega. I heard the song Moon River and saw Audrey Hepburn walking down fifth Avenue and I had never even heard of Audrey Hepburn up until that moment. I watched every second of that movie and it became an instant favourite. Almost 45 years later and it's still one of my favourites. Audrey was a gem.

Round year changer 1964/1965 there were 3 top musical films released My fair lady, Mary Poppins and the Sound of music. They took a hugh risk for releasing these expensive movies in a period of 3 or 4 month. Thank God it went well, all 3 films were a big succes at the time, they were all running in cinema for over a year!

Audrey didn't sing Moon River, according to Radio 4, it was a backing singer, I'm sorry to say, the song was written by John Mercer , about his childhood, ie My huckleberry freind" rgds Colin Runciman.
@garypesci7462 ай бұрын
Get your facts straight. Henry Mancini composed the music with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. And Audrey Hepburn did sing it in the movie, those who were there verified that, plus you can tell its her voice.

Audrey Hepburn was the perfect replacement for Marilyn Monroe as Holly Golightly. I can't imagine if Holly not portrayed by Audrey Hepburn
@louisgonzalez8846 Жыл бұрын
Truman Capote should consider himself very lucky that they used Audrey instead. Since M.M. would have cheapened the role. And not given that classic air that Holly displayed.!!

Imagine people talking about you in this way I saw her doing an interview where she said, even though I didn’t have any curves, it seemed to work to my favor. These are the questions of the interviewers people constantly reminding her that she’s flat-chested and doesn’t have a figure and that she’s boyish so rude.
