I love those maybeline polishes. I have a couple that I found at dollar tree. I think I’d be tempted by every one of the ones you bought! I do love LA Colors.

Nice! Yes, I find those polishes at my DT in the packets and I've picked up a few. One thing about those Maybelline polishes; I do have a green one that while absolutely beautiful, it stains quite a bit. TFS!

That’s good info to know about the staining! I haven’t experienced that. I don’t often get staining but if I do, it’s always from a green or yellow polish!

I visited the store about a month ago and picked up 2 non opaque Sally Hansen miracle gel that I haven’t opened yet… one was a whitish color with blue shimmer and the other a brownish with various sized cooper glitters. I am curious now to what other shades I’d find because I’m interested in those blues.

I think the blister pack packaging is to prevent people from opening them and swatching them on the shelves, something I see a lot at CVS. tons of little blobs of polish on the store shelves and racks.

I would definitely take home the two bright blues! The first topper seemed to add a blue shimmer. I paid $16 plus shipping for that from an indie last summer!💙😮

Yes! My Dollar Tree does the same individual packaging for the mainstream polishes. Great finds btw. Where do you find your clear nail wheels? I ordered some from Temu and it was super weak and the nail tips would fall off if I even looked at them too long. 😅

I've seen lots of mainstreams at Dollar Tree but always talk myself out of them 😅😂 I know I don't like the miracle gel brushes or insta dri ones for that matter, but it's a great way to build your collection at a fraction of the cost I've also considered trying those Maybelline polishes again, I used one years ago and it chipped in 24hours 😢 But I see them often, maybe that's my sign to give em a go again ❤

That is an excellent combo "I forgive you" over that essence base! Wow that "chromatica" is the most pathetic polish I've ever seen 😂 but it actually looks pretty as a topper! This was fun!

Can't go wrong with LA Colors pricewise (if you need them). And yes, the SH looked great over the black, even though I don't usually go for darker colors. My favorite here is the KBS Under the Sea - so pretty! 💙

Great haul. I love the green from la colors. I picked that one up too. From what I understand the galactic collection from Sally Hansen is all sheer and meant to be toppers.

Ahhh, a fellow Idahoan! Been to Pokey many times! We love Idaho (have lived here almost 30 years. However, the wildfire smoke is literally killing us at the moment. It’s definitely the one drawback. Keep me posted on if you try/use Dazzle Dry! 😊

I get OPI at TJ/TKMaxx a lot, and I even find some of their gel polish line too. But I don't use gel due to the high potential for developing gel allergies, so whenever I find a gel I just give it to my nail tech friend. They're cheap enough to where I can typically buy multiple at a time, around $2-3.

I just added some white pigment to my bottle and it looks whiter now, maybe the flakes are tinting the base?

I had similar polishes to the Atomic and Dreamland so skipped those, but kinda wish I'd picked up the Cupcake. Even grayed out, it looked very nice on your nails!

Sour Apple Ring is totally worth it💚💛. Shake Your Shamrocks was awful, exactly as Agata described it below. i mean they did it the third time, they should get the formula right by now😿

Was it really me getting you into the Shake Your Shamrock? I am hoping your formula will be better. After studying it I know what is wrong, not only its thick BUT most important part, it dries VERY fast not leaving you with much time to move the brush, creating streaks. Honestly it was the worst formula of all my indie polishes....but the color is pretty lol And what is up the the Cupcake polish? I didnt get this one bc I have the blue version but I can swear this one was supposed to be white! Maybe we both wrong....Very nice selection Krista! Oh looking cute in that ponytail 🙂

Oh my word, Ian wouldn't dare touch my polish collection LOL, I would be so mad, so that is a totally understandable reaction. I know I'm gonna regret not getting "Shake Your Shamrock". I did get "Goblins&Ghoulies" though! That was a must! Loving that lavender OPI. I am really drawn to cremes atm, perhaps because I'm getting my stamping mojo back and I keep thinking "that would make a great base" 😄

The thrift stores where I am mostly have glassware and random craft stuff like bags of embroidery thread and ribbons. I've never once seen cosmetic items, presumably the staff throws it all away...or pockets it.

It’s interesting because I watch a nail youtuber who is a nail tech and really pushes “healthy nails”. Her advice is always to wear no polish, be gentle on pushing cuticles back, and just let them grow. I think maybe that’s what happened with J’s nails. No acetone or polish on them for months made them grow well!

Known issue with Lapiz of Luxury for some reason; seems like every 2/3 bottles discolor! I'm not sure why, probably an issue with the pigment.

I believe that OPI was from their summer collection in 2023? Might have been 2022 though? I got almost all of them from that collection when they were on clearance at my local grocery store. There’s another turquoise in it that is much brighter. It’s gorgeous too! 😊
