I grew up in SoCal and some of the nicest, most loyal friends I had were Samoan.

Only real vacation I have ever went on in 39 years of my life was to the big island. Stayed in Kalua Kona. Man it was amazing. Went all around the island. Went to the lava flows. Could see the solidified lava 4ft flowed over the road. Found a sea snake. Went to Black sand beach. Went to Hilo! Found Sea turtles. Best times.

5:16 That’s Ryan Clark of the Pivot Podcast. This man is always giving back to communities. He’s even in Troys Ancestral homeland to help HIS community. A lot of people underestimate him and he still is doing great things today. Everything Troy and the fellas did out there is Amazing.

There's no Polamalu without Ryan Clark. He could read his mind and cover whatever gap Polamalu left to make a play.

@@PrecioNFL Ryan Clark was low key one of the best safeties in the league. It’s just there was so many namers out at the time. Brian Dawkins. Sean Taylor. Troy. Ed Reed. Bob Sanders. Rodney Harrison. Lawyer Milloy. John Lynch. But real ones know about Ryan Clark!

I humbled him back in 91 to 98 when we lived in southern Oregon Douglas county he went to Winston school and I went to riddle school and all three out that time I was his biggest competitor I was a year ahead of him. But he was a very very competitive kid at all our sport events and we played all of them he would always want to race me or see who could hit a ball farther run the bases faster, long jumps, throwing everything. But always running I always had that little bit over him and he would get really upset at himself when I would beat him and if anyone beat him he was so hard on himself. Would cry and cry let's do it again let's do it again over and over. But that's what made him a professional athlete. Always pushing yourself harder and harder never give up in loss and most with victory it's easy to slip when your at the top of your game thinking you have no competition so you don't train or get fat

Troy I went w Samoa for my honey moon. A resort called coconuts. I fell in love with the people, so humble and honest and true. I went there because it was low profile and I'm a bit surfer. Also I'm a huge pit and Troy polomanu. Watching you was like watching a volcano erupt. . I'm so happy that you played for the Steelers . God bless you and your family

Troy Polamalu is a shining light in a dark world. If he is the emodiment of Samoan Culture, then I want to live there. such beautiful, humble, loving, hardworking, tough people!!!! A true reflection of what heaven must be like. I love the fact that The Gospel of Jesus Christ has penetrated that Island, and the people reflect its character. I hope the Island is never corrupted by American cultural imperialism. The video had me near tears because the glory and beauty of God's love was evident in Troy and the people.
