In September of 2010, Arthur's mother and only living parent passed away suddenly of cancer. With little keeping him at home, he set out to walk across the entire United States to raise awareness for breast cancer research, and to heal.

Bless you, Arthur Hitchcock!!! Your actions were heroic, nothing short of just admirable. I'm positive your Mother and Father are proud, smiling angels indeed. And, you are a great friend, Anthony Felix. Thanks for being an awesome person to support your friend during an extremely difficult time. My Mother was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Invasive Ductal Adenocarcinoma. I would be lying if I said I was not scared. Perhaps this is human nature for she's not only my best friend but the best Mommy I could possibly ask to have. Also, being a provider yet medically inclined is a blessing but can complicate things as well. However, my outlook is very positive; I'm optimistic. And, I'm walking with her step by step through this entire journey until she has reached complete healing 💖🎀🙋 Uplifting you and your significant other is a new found priority. Wishing the two of you the absolute best, all the greatness life has to offer. You deserve it.
