At last! I’m so glad you said that about avocado oil, I swear by this oil! And jojoba oil for my son that has or had sebhorric dermatitis 🙏🏾I think coconut oil is awful for our hair cooking & skincare maybe but it made my hair crispy & just sat there didn’t absorb. Nice calming video, thanks for sharing 👌🏾🇬🇧 It’s 9:30pm in the uk I’m doing some extra work from home 🖤

Yea, if I didn’t have Locs, I’m not sure if my hair would reach the length it is now. It would require a lot more time and attention. ✨ I still switch up styles though but now it’s loc’d styles.

True, Every time I focus on excuses and distractions I’m choosing to stay away from the opportunity to explore the endless depths of myself. Thanks for the reminder
@GearlessMo2 ай бұрын
Agreed, the ability to focus is natural, but we are trained and retrained to focus on habits created by actions, and we train ourselves to get those "kicks." Also, those platforms are training most to lose that ability to focus and lower their attention spans over time. Interesting narrative. I'm really looking forward to the responses from this audience. Love the question through a message: "Where are you directing your focus?" -

If I can be frank; No. In my journey along the path called life, I clearly don't know what happiness is. I've been told what it should feel like, what it should be physically and what it is expected to be metaphorically... But I feel it's not a true destination. Think of it as magnetic north and true north. Sure anyone with a compass or with a sense of direction and tell you what north is, but I believe it's a moving target relevant to your journey. I feel I have seen what happiness should be, but it changes as I have changed along the way for many years now. Truth is, I focus on what I think happiness is, I make moves to get there, and while on the journey, I change, learn, adapt, and evolve, and so my sense of Happiness changes in tandem. How about you?
@ogeonye2 ай бұрын
I do my best to focus on the present moment and what I can be grateful for. I believe happiness is a state of mind. A collective set of moments that one has notices on a regular basis that gives the feeling of fulfillment and value. It isn't constant but can be chosen with intention, mindset, and regular action while embracing stillness and acceptance.

I always try to teach my patients about being grateful without judging them ( without making them feel like they are ungrateful). Learning them to appreciate small things that matters, an example like waking up in the morning seeing a new day, new objects, that we can see and smell our environment etc appreciating " little things" if they are little... Not all patient with depression have serious problems but ofcourse we are different and sensitive the different ways but we can still be hournest with each other and help each other. Life is a gift.. thanx for the video

Your hair is beautiful well done on reaching 7 years. Regards regrowth looks normal & after 7 years you could leave longer between reties as it seems you get one full rotation, I recently started to leave longer gaps between reties and it’s great. Also try jojoba or avocado oil as our hair can absorb these 2 oils coconut oil tends to leave hair crispy, but it’s just a suggestion as we have similar hair density & fine strand texture but I have 190 locs as didn’t want lonnnnnnnnng maintenance sessions. Thanks for hair update been waiting for this ☺️ 🇬🇧

King Elder Patterson is the leader of our Tribal Association and the Tribal Forum. He's a good person with a great hart. Marcus Garvey's Legacy of Pan-Africanism is celebrated annually in the town of Old Harbour on August 17 at 4 pm in Liberty Hall Marcus branch 301 of the UNIA. This Liberty Hall is also located in Old Harbour diagonal from Mr. Patterson's restaurant. This event to date is the only Pan-African Marcus Garvey celebration done by my organization and are working on making it a national recognized holiday.
