We don't have any immediate plans to support Planning Center in other languages, which means the videos, documentation, and help you receive from our staff will only be in English. However, most of the features in our products can be named or customized by you. You can name your events, ministries, and assignments in your language; the only features that you can't rename are the buttons on the site or in an email. Google Chrome has a cool feature that'll Translate Webpages into your language for you if you'd like to check that out!

You can have a group that is not listed anywhere on Church Center, neither a searchable group nor in the Calendar, but there are a few settings you'll want to check first. In the group, you want to ensure it's Closed and Unlisted. You will also want to make sure this group is not part of a Group Type that shares events through a Feed in the Calendar. Something noteworthy: this won't be an anonymous group. Everyone in the group will be able to see the other members. With these steps, the only people who will be able to see this group, or what's going on in this group are the folks who are members. This may work for what you need! To change the name of someone in your group you'll need to have access to the People app and change it from their profile. People acts as the main database that all the other apps pull from. Group Leaders don't usually have access to the People app - only those with Administrator Permissions can do this. Instead, you have two options: 1. You can speak to an Administrator about updating their information for them 2. You can use Check-Ins without printing labels! 1. Use the Church Center App: The Church Center App allows attendees to check-in on their personal devices. If you do not print labels, you can enable the setting to allow the user to completely check-in from the app (they do not need to scan or do anything extra). This is the best option for checking in multiple household members. You can use Self or Manned stations if you are checking in lots of people at a central location or by household. 3. Use a People Form: Create an online Connect Card using People Forms. Upon submission, the user who filled out the form will be checked into your event. This is best for individual attendees and guests.
