I wonder if Degesu is truly done. Maybe we'll get some kind of reconciliation scene. Or he'll end up saving the day and becoming king anyway. Overall though... His arc/plot didn't seem to go anywhere as it stands in this episode

Im aware that Toriyama is not the creator of dragon quest as a Mexican im a big dragon ball z fan but rpg games ain't that popular here in Mexico but i recently wanted to get into the very first dragon quest trilogy because of Toriyamas iconic art, dragon quest is like dragon balls half brother i like to see it that way, if you show a random Mexican an image of dragon quest its very possible they'll confused it with a dragon ball character... rip Akira Toriyama 🇲🇽🇯🇵

It seems that a state of mind is what guides the formation of the next regeneration. Like the 2nd Doctor perhaps believed he could of saved Jamie and Zoe if he was more of a man of action while the 7th Doctor was reading The Time Machine book and practically regenerated into the main character of the story.

That isn't actually a retcon the gas inside buus body can unfuse permanent fusions like they did with vegito in dbz of all the retcons in daima that was actually accurate no animosity meant just friendly conversation

They do say only Kai’s fusions are permanent, but Vegito’s fusion ended earlier because of the gas. However the reason it was a retcon because Kabito Kai never unfused in GT but GT is no longer canon

True, the last we see in Dragon Ball is 8. Then in the android saga it’s 16-20 so realistically there must of been 9-15 in canon but deemed a failure. Whether 13 was the same as the movie one, we wouldn’t know

The Canon is DB is strange and weird. As an example, i will take C9, made with the corpse of Commander Red of the Red Ribbon Army, canon in Japan, appearing in three video games, several mangas and never mentioned a single time in the west... C9 even appear in the canon timeline made by Toriyama describing what happen after Goku's and Vegeta's death: he lurked into the darkness for years, playing the long game and after his nemesis died of old age he strike, taking control of the remnant of Frieza armies and wagging war on the galaxy.
