It's just human mistakes sometimes. Also orb travels slow; so if i'm further, i have time to press arcane barrage one more time before it hits the targets and it generates the 4 charges

Hey, tks! I did mouseover one of them -> set them as my focus -> targetted a second one, pressed spellsteal, and pressend spellsteal @focus target macro, that's all!

I've previously done 5M as well, but as arcane it's a bit less common. I was also just happy about the run itself on like the 8th day of the patch!

Hunter is definitely far easier than arcane mage. So yes, his dps as arcane is very impressive.

Not exactly; rather if anyone else than me were in combat with the adds after the boss was pulled, the adds wouldn't reset and would go on that person. So I just had to check that I had not hots on so the healer didn't get in combat with the 2 adds

It's some scrolling combat text settings, unsure of the exact settings though and I can't check as I am away for 2 weeks

I can play fire at high keys as well, but I find jr very very boring. Fire just works better with pi and aug and that's why it's being played. It's also much more forgiving than arcane

@@KyujiQG Thanks for the response, yeah that makes a lot of sense that it's largely about the comp rather than fire mage by itself. PI with fire feels great, PI with arcane at the wrong time is like oh great I'll conserve earlier then I guess

Hey! Always sim your trinkets, guides are fine as a guideline, but in the end you want the trinket that performs the best for your character. And each character is different because of race, small changes in gear, and each trinket is going to be a bit different for everyone. I have ashes and tome, and I do use both for bith m+ and raid, and I won't change them, as for raid dmg dorsn t matter the most this tier, and these are the 2 trinkets that sim best for me (as a dark iron dwarf with a 2 min active, a 2min trinket like ashes is going to have more value for me than for example irridieus) I also love ashes, the haste debuff is actually something I like, it allows me to play more haste during cds and lose less mana during conserving phase And irridieus is cringe af cuz 3 mins doesn't line up with shit These are my thoughts, but yeah TLDR is you sim: Patchwerk 5 targets 5 mins (in aoe talents) Cleave add 5 targets 5 mins (in aoe talents) And pick a combo that does well for both

I use SIM for specific, close gear variances... yet I NEVER REMEMBER to use it for actual, overall gearing metas that align with attributes you noted above (I'm a regular Dwarf). I'll account and trace back to what you noted here with your experiences, when things *actually* drop for me, lmfao! And +1 to the Irridieus, I like what it dishes out for buffs, but the CD is gross, LOL. Thanks again.

Your first 2 timestamps, you're wrong. Sending 4set without clearcasting is a waste of dps The last timestamp my clearcasting was bugged so I had to generate another charge before sending missiles - otherwise missiles would be sent without the buff Also you have to keep in mind something - the 4 set is a wierd buff. So let's say, one full clearcasting missiles takes 1 second to fully channel. Let's say you have 0.4s left of your 4set proc; if you send arcane missiles, only the first 0.4s will be buffed by the 4 set, and the last 0.6s of the cast will be unbuffed missiles. Regarding the 2 set, I'm trying to keep up the stacks, but it's inevitable that they drop sometimes.

@ryanbarron7590 my aoe rotation is always the same - I recommend going to the mage-hub.com or watching phosphoros's s3 or toegrinders's s3 arcane guides - since arcane is played the same as in s3

@@KyujiQG However i seem to outperform every fire mage i have been in group with. Perhaps it is because people don't pull as large groups in pugs. Fire just always seems to be lowest on the meter. I have never seen a fire mage be first - rarely even second on the dmg meter.

@cwhit2575 in my last 3 videos, one of them doesn't even have a priest or an aug, the other with the ret and sp, ret got the pi not me, and in the azure vault one pi was not only on me, the healer sent his pis evenly split between us 3 dps So 3/5 videos without me having pi or aug, why u crying 🥲
