Hey man just starting playing arcane mage recently. Your vids helped me a a lot! I've got the rotation down now and can blast in aoe but i struggle with mana in ST. Especially during double lust on ST i find im almost running out of mana before i even get to my first mini burn and evocate is still on cd for 30+ seconds. Any tips for conserving mana on ST?

Mana management can be a bit rough as a new player. Be sure to do the proper filler rotation and you should be fine! No secret tips to be honest you just need enough mastery and not too much haste

I saw somewhere that not clipping AM outside of burns helps with mana for a small DPS loss. And obviously just using AB once you're below 10% mana

Also you should burn some mana and build up the tierset buff before starting the 1st burn stage, so you recover some mana with the surge

Great work man! ❤ How much stat of everything do you recomend? Atm im at 478 ilvl with 14% haste, 51% mastery, 31% crit, and 7% vers. What would you change? 🙃❤️

New to arcane, and mage in general. Ive been simmimg myself, and in aoe it keeps saying haste is best for me (mastery for ST), but pretty much every guide says mastery is king. I see you stack mastery very hard too. Are sims just not optomized for arcane aoe?

They are very optimised, however you're supposed to equip something that sims decently in both aoe and st. Pick a combination of gear that makes you win the most in both. It's not worth to gain 2% aoe to lose 15% st, and vice versa. Look at my triple vault video I've explained pretty well how to sim your gear there

What tier set did you vote for I think season 2 is easier but season 3 feels cooler with all the missiles

Yeah I voted season 2 was easier mana management! Even though season 3 is rly cool... i wish we could have 2set from s2 and 4set from s3 that would be great

Ive got to figure out my timings better, since i pug most of the time i have to adjust so many things in keys. at 477 im doing at best 150k ish in damage. I find the big burn rotation takes way too long to complete and by the time touch goes out half of the packs are dead if you have other high powered DPS toons in your group..ie havoc. My stats are looking about right, maybe could use a bit more verse to not die from normal aoe stuff it just seems so strict of a timeline of cooldowns it won't fit in many areas especially a chain pulling tank where you will have no cooldown periods. But im gonna keep watching your vids to get more insight

tks! low keys are always rough like that. and appart from this key which i did with some friends for fun, i pug most of the time too; it's mostly about the keylevel not havin or not premades (which i don't have 99% of the time). Also doing your rotation properly means getting your dmg out as soon as possible; that might be something you could improve

@@KyujiQG yeah its evocation channel that always screws me up..."looks like tank is getting ready to pull next pack and trying to evo before, then tanks decides to go another route waisting 10 seconds ect. I just wish arcane surge and evo were about half the cast time at this point, im starting to really miss the rotation with arcane power and how fast it was.

@@99Pierogies Yeah it would but that might be too much to ask since they seem to want the theme of Arcane to be a long cast type of caster. at .5 -1 second cast would be nice too or some way to decrease its cast time ie at zero charges arcane surge cast time is .5 seconds, then it would give me the ability to decide if i want a fast one thats weaker or a slower more powerful version of it.

And why are you talking about mage and rogue as if there aren't 3 different specs in each.. pls watch again the comp we had which is much less ideal than aug boomy mage prot pala what we play It isn't a bad comp but not at all the most optimised - which by the way is nice! It means the season is much more balanced than the horrible thing we had last season
