Wow, I've never seen this before! Simply stunning all around -- Twyla's choreo, the Sinatra classics, a brilliant partner in Elaine Kudo, and of course, the wildly talented Mr. Baryshnikov. His dance technique is astonishingly, extravagantly, just bloody flipping fantastic, but his acting here shouldn't be overlooked. He really sells it on all levels, a timeless artist.

This is why Mikhail left Russia, so he could progress and grow as a dancer and artist in all venues. The soviet produces great classical dancers but anything beyond that , no contemporary, new new works, he had the freedom to grow in amazing works of dance and this is just another outstanding performance between two great dancers 👏 4:28

@@pollutionfreeplanet I’ve seen a Bolshoi Ballet performance. There’s nothing quite like it, but it was not Baryshnikov.

@@pollutionfreeplanet I basically agree, though. I was always drawn to their classical music and artistry through figure skating and ballet, growing up. It’s exquisite.

I just love to see Baryshnikov Dance ! He is such a great Dancer ! He Dance classic ballet like a god , and he dance showdance just as well ! And he is a great actor too !
