It's not in the same category, but the Goodie Pack Vanduul skull is a nice item. Never even looked at it until today when I was looking for the 1/7/25 subscriber items on Live. For one thing it's decent size, which IMO some of the small tabletop type decor in SC should be larger. They also need some type of lighting or lamps. I like the corner areas of Pyro stations (also if the piles of trash weren't there) for a room type setup but it's too dark in the corners.

Hi. Thank you for the video. I was able to buy the maxlift tractor beam but it came with a 0% of battery. I bought two batteries in the same panel that you bought the tractor beam but I can't put them of the beam. I tried by putting them directly in the beam, putting them in the chest accesories spot and then trying to reload the beam but nothing worked. Do you know how I can charge the tractor beam battery? Thanks.

I could not resist and got a qi model, but the notion the quantum interdiction field would help vs lighter fighters just goes to show how little marketing actually understand the game. I can see it as useful specifically vs larger ships that want to get away. The smaller fighters can speed out of range and jump if they want.

You missed the personal storage underneath the bed, the external weapon locker and storage (inner side of the bottom wings) as well as the second access to the ship directly from the cockpit. No one needs a third-person cinematic fight for the cool factor. Just facts. You got a long way to go when it comes to reviews.

The constellations have the same escape pod/bed combination. I think the Redeemer and maybe the Valkyries also have it.

My opinion is that every single ship should have at least 2 SCU cargo grid. As you can pick items during missions, you should be able to store it somewhere. And 1 or 2 SCU boxes are usually used for this purpose. Also delivery missions with those small packages should be grid lockable ;-)

saving up to swap the guns for galdereen repeaters, catching single seat fighters with the stock cannons is an absolute pain in the ass

One the plus side the Guardian is a single seater (no turret) but expect a re-balance after the sale is over.

Size 5s will really start to shine when armor comes in.

It seriously lacking in powergrid. It has very good hp and it's lack of power means ballistics are logical to use. So what does this mean? Both having good HP and having heavy reason for ballistics = a pvp focused ship.

I am not sure their live environment has gotten good enough for this to be necessary but if we are getting to that stage where live is solid enough to not be worth risking disrupting then this is a good change. Certainly an approach more in line of what will need to be in place for a final live release so an appropriate approach for the future.

Anything without a medbed or the option to bring a nursa isn't a good bunker runner.

Bottom line is...4.0 will not release in 2024. Better hang on to all your folders...you don't know what you might have to salvage, next year!

Meh, I guess it's the best of bad options. Unless the latest patch fixed a lot, 4.0 isn't ready. But I'm sure a lot of people will want to spend their time with it over the holidays depending on how it holds up.

I appreciate the push towards a more stable live, but over polish at this stage is only going to slow things down.

Crew beds as ejection beds: Vanguards, constellations, and reliants do that as well, though it makes more sense on those as they’re close to the cockpit. Makes no sense on paladin as they’re close effectively have to run around all that useless internal space to get to them. Good luck if the ship is about to go down and you don’t even have gravity.

It makes sense to me and assume you’ll have a dropdown to choose which live build to launch as they do with live and test builds.

Beds as escape pods is nothing new. The Constellation has had this exact same thing forever!

I can agree with their reasoning over the changes to the Redeemer. But like everyone I 100% believe those changes happened NOW just because they wanted to sell the Paladin. No one has ever accused CIG marketing of not being slimy.

I would say three or four of those questions were wasted. Information that was already out there if people just bothered to look. Not sure how CIG determines which questions are worth answering.

The whole reloading ballistic ammo seems silly. Especially for a dedicated gunship. If you have space for 'extra' ammo why wouldn't your ammo magazine just be bigger? Now if you're talking a cargo ship carrying a big box of ammo on the cargo grid, ok.

As far back as the Freelancer & Connie, beds have been escape pods. It's not a new revolutionary feature.
