Hi Hashpreet didi ❤ I’d like to share a challenge that many of us face with Class 12 history. As we know, the three NCERT books hold equal weightage-25 marks each, plus 5 marks for maps (already provided by CBSE). It’s very common to start with the first book and end up dedicating more time to it. However, the second book, with its three major chapters-Bhakti-Sufi Traditions, An Imperial Capital: Vijayanagara, and Peasants, Zamindars, and the State (Chapters 6, 7, and 8)-often gets sidelined. Now that it’s September, I’m unsure whether to focus on finishing the first book before moving to the second and third or to balance my time across all three books. My goal is to complete the syllabus by October or early November, leaving enough time for thorough revision, practicing previous year questions, and tackling the sample paper released on September 5th, 2024. I also need to focus on MCQs, long-answer questions, and enhancing my responses with flowcharts, especially for the 8-marker questions (one from each book). Any suggestions on managing these three books efficiently would be really helpful. Looking forward to some guidance...💥

Hello Harshpreet di ❤ I am a Class 12 Humanities student and have six subjects: History, Political Science, English, Economics, Physical Education, and Painting. I am aiming for high scores, especially 100 out of 100 in History and Political Science. I’m aware that the CBSE board for (2024-25) has introduced 50% competency-based questions, so the challenge is slightly different now. For History, I am focused on reading the NCERTs multiple times and making short notes, flowcharts, and diagrams (like the Great Bath or the Citadel) to memorize key points efficiently. I will elaborate and expand on the main ideas in exams. As long as I stick to the NCERT, MCQs should be easy for both the subjects. For Political Science, I am focusing on making similar notes and reading NCERT as many times as I can. What do you suggest I could improve or add to my strategy?
