may skwami ang manila, may skwami din ang cebu, may kalat sa manila, may kalat din sa cebu. pero never ka makakarinig ng foreigner na magsasabing ns first world country ka pag nasa cebu city ka. pero maraming foreigner ang magsasabing para kang wala sa Pinas pag ns metro manila ka in some parts. sa cebu? kahit saang part, pang third world talaga.

I've been to London and NOT IMPRESSED by it. NY been there 5 times it's overwhelming. I live in Orange County, CA near LA. LA is not ok anymore. A lot of homeless and drug addicts from other states came. Been to Zurich, Switzerland it's ok but so expensive. Been to other countries in Asia and Europe too. But my other home is Iloilo City in Panay Island just on the other side of Cebu Island. Haven't been to France yet.

Cebu is better because you can get to the beach or mountains in 30min. If you are in Manila, it would take you 4 to 5 hours to get to the beach or mountains. But Manila would have a slightly better malling and resto.

The beaches around Cebu City are not nice at all ... Camotes Island has beautiful beaches but it takes 6 hours to go there with the taxi and the boat.

@@thefrenchfilipinofamily True, so the local beaches in Mactan are just average, but still a good place to unwind for a few hours and still go back home and work the next day, or you can spend 2k day-use in Shang or Plantation for 5 star beaches. It only takes 2-3 hours to go to Alcoy or Moalboal. The point is Ceb is better than Manila because Ceb u can still enjoy a big city and beach, unlike Manila where ur trapped in the city

False: nature in Metro Manila is just 30mins to 1 hr away you can see majestic falls and mighty mountains of sierra madre. 1 hr, ns Tagaytay city ka na overlooking taal volcano. Caves of Rizal and Bulacan are just hour away. ung beach nga lang ang mejo malayo like 2 hrs. such in Batanags. pero you can get there fast with expressways.

Glad you love it. Just stay away from the slum part and you'll be ok. Just be mindful of petty crimes like pick pocketing and scamming. Just expect also that it will be a bit pricier as compared to other cities.

Manila is cheaper than Cebu City in city parts that are equally cheap ;) You showing pictures of BGC but talking numbers like from Valenzuela and so on. Also, if you want nature, it is just a short drive away from Cebu.. In Manila.. not so much..

Metro Manila is not just BGC, maraming place na mukhang BGC sa MM. the one in the video is Mandaluyong City. kaya nyo lagi sinasabi na nature is just a drive away sa cebu kasi nga nde nyo rin mapagmalaki ung city mismo, kaya instead sa city sa nature na lang sila tumingin. hahaha. @@criticalreader2023 I live in the city only for the amenities, otherwise I would live in the province completely in nature.. Thats why towns like Cebu are better for me. It is always on what you focus. Same goes for Iloilo, 1000x times cleaner than Metro Manila and nature not far away and even the premier locations like Boracay. So it is about what your preference is. For example the very good enlish in Manila might be especially good for a french with bad english. ;) But the point that it is cheaper is bullshit.

Interesting. When I went to Manila 18 years ago it was very dirty, and the jeepney in front of ours got stopped by bandits, and the bus I rode was robbed by 4 passengers the very next day after I rode it. Scary place.

Try to visit also Alabang in M.Manila. It is also a beautiful business district and you are near to Tagaytay and to the beach like Pico de Loro if you like to visit a beach
