Dragoon is nowhere near as broken as Rhongomyniad. He's a One per turn Omni-negate, not an unaffected floodgate that stops you from playing the game. Any Kaiju beats Dragoon. Can't say the same about Rhongo-bongo.

Some cards have effects that activate once they are banished, or effects they can activate while in banishment. But similar to how a face down Trap is treated as both a Spell or a Trap and cannot activate its effects, a monster that is face down in banishment functionally cannot have a use. Since the monster is face down any effects are irrelevant as that monster technically isn’t a specific monster, only a face down card, effects can’t be activated, and lingering effects aren’t active. It is simply a face down card with nothing else. And since this face down monster is in banishment, there aren’t many ways to interact with it. Take for example a card that adds a monster from your banishment to your hand. The face down card may be a monster, but since it isn’t in a monster zone, and it is face down, it technically isn’t classified as a monster. So a card that adds a banished monster to your hand isn’t applicable. To put it shortly, face down monster cards in banishment can’t use their effects, and aren’t easily interacted with, making face down banishing one of, if not the most effective form of removal in yugioh.

Amazing for Swordsoul Tenyi, it's a wyrm so swordsoul can search it out and get it's materials into the GY with it's starting combo, and Swordsoul Tenyi only has like 2 dark type monsters in the extra deck.

Card has plenty of outs which is why it's still legal to play in MD and the OCG. TCG banned it early which extended the life of the other Kashtira cards. Fenrir is banned in the OCG, and Limited at 1 in MD for example.

Theres a synchro card that any card sent to the grave is banish instead but doesnt do any the other effect but it sends a summon monster to grave and thats once per turn they use it so the first effect triggers more but not great against shining sarcophagus gandora has it counts for yours and your opponents banish mo sters aswel
