my theory is that these players arent the first to discover this but merely record it, and the multiple black houses are actually the spirits of the deceased which fell prey to the tall house. to support my claim, the npc had the name "container" in it, and later this is elaborated by "the dead will become the containers of the king thingymajig" or something. so all these houses are the spirits of dead people in the game which contain the king thingymathings. so, the tall house is a dead spirit being puppeted against its will to hold a king thingything, which will in return lead others to curiousity, leading them to their fate and become a tall house. so kinda like a venus flytrap, the fly's curiousity gets the better, it goes in, the flytrap shuts, and it meets its fate, trapped in the flytrap until its decomposure process is finished. idk if i explained it properly
