No it can run on any German route. You will not get any scenarios or services for it without Frankfurt Fulda but you can use it in free roam or your own user created scenarios.

Whoever said there are only 4 Mildmay Line services a day that run direct to Richmond is in grave error. Outside rush hour on weekdays there are 4/5 services per hour that run direct from Stratford to Richmond. I checked.

The ex Caltrain are going to South America for a new rail line. The Metrolink is going to Metrolinx (GO Transit) they are already up in North Bay or still in transit for a rebuild.

Nice to see that Dovetail are not neglecting older routes anymore, they are adding this to the Antelope Valley. Previously it was just Skyhook doing this (and clearly are not stopping) and DTG probably saw the feedback and wanted part of the action. The 150 and 153 look good. I find it funny that the FPS counter is in the Dutch screenshots! 15:04 is one. I think Thomas is the same model they used in the series, hence why the wheels are so big. Look at any episode and see how stupidly big the rails are! I still think we should be able to drive him like a real loco though. 4 Trains a day? I think its 4 an hour. Anyway the Overground route (which I am refusing to call by its name because silly Mayor) looks to be really really good, there are so many layers in there (its super busy in real life) as well as the Main Line 9 coach 710 (in Elizabeth Line 345 livery (branded)) and a 5 coach one in GA unbranded livery. The orange / red train is the DLR B09 stock which they said is also branded and is a custom model (maybe a DLR route one day). The 378 looks really good as well. They even have modelled 2 buses to drive round on the route! Also looking from the cafe you might be able to leave the stations like Just Trains! The Thameslink train is literally the 700 in the Class 700 DLC. And I'd be surprised if they didn't have a Thameslink licence considering they have a Southern one. The new Fife Timetable looks really good (and yes GWG is Great Western Express). I love the updates Skyhook are making to older DLCs, I hope the new Cargo Lines get added to other routes.

Correct re frequency - roughly every 7/8 minutes Stratford-Willesden, then every 15 to Richmond or Clapham Junction. Wonder if they will add in the 378 passing over the top at Acton Main Line into the remastered GWE.

The screenshots generally come from beta testers who usually have FPS counters on keeping an eye on it. Thomas did originally have big wheels but so does the real engine. The original series looked like Code 100 HO (or OO) track which is absolutely huge. Code 70 is closer to real size for mainline rail. I have not heard anything about the buses being driveable by the player. Do you have a reference for that? DTG have done loads of updates to old routes Caltrain and WSR to name a couple. It isn't that unusual. They used to have a team doing it.

Mildmay Line and Cargo Line: Intermodal are what ill be keepimg my eye on. I will be picking up TTTE as my first steam DLC so that will be awesome as well. Hopefully they release Diesel though. Absolute must have.

Diesel is coming with Thomas. They've not said which one but my guess would be a Class 37 seems to fit the general outline although there are others that would be ok too.

We figured this out on the stream later in the day, it was a sound muting device that was supposed to block out all of the background noise but it made his voice sound funny 😂 😂

It is the noise cancelling, I figured it out - its affected by the air from the air con. By the time its pulled that out there isn't much left of me. I'm trying a new setup with a new mic today. Seems better so far.

As long as the TVL/NTP locos run run air brakes then they should work. Those builds are a looooon way apart so there might be something in the blueprints that makes them not work. Stay tuned.

How do you remove all hud? Like literally nothing visible except for the crosshair and stop marker. I remember this being a thing in tsw2 but I haven't gotten it to work since tsw3.

Looks like you have to update quite a lot of them after the latest 6.8 update if you're running the experimental. Further UMM is required to have all the nice new toys like mod engines etc. so would recommend to to install it as well as it won't conflict with railloader.

@@fokkoscheidema3587 yes keeping mods up to date is a journey sometimes. Note that while UMM is compatible with Railloader it's got a conflict with Zamu's Strange Customs. They both use harmony but they use different versions. SC needs the latest. After you install UMM upgrade harmony straight away of you're using both. UMM seems ok with the newest harmony.

How did you enable 'Tactile Detents Disabled'? I have Smokebox Bigboy with Raildriver. Ctrl-Shift-3 does not do anything so trainbrake does not work well.

I think from memory its a variant of R, ctrl-R or ctrl-shift-R something like that - if neither of those work, please let me know and I'll run the game and work it out

@@trainsimulatordriver I just checked the manual for the Challenger on Steam and it does list the Detent controls which are Ctrl Shift 3. So the Big Boy does not have this feature for some reason which is disappointing.

Hunting through my various conversations with Mike it looks like Big Boy doesn't have the feature to change the brake mode. The ctrl-R turns out is for the NZTS Kb which uses a version of Mike's braking script. I can understand why he would not update it just for that. Releasing an update is expensive. Sorry to lead you up the garden path there.

I wanted to drive heavy freight on the Köln - Aachen route. that heavy tanker train of +2000T so I wanted pzb mode U and the brakes on G but could not select the brakes anywhere and the lever on the wagons are not interactive on this route. Unfortunately, I cannot drive with LZB on this route, although the train and track have LZB.

Too bad that is the case because the route is super fun and chill to do and the LZB section is the longest I have as a route, I think, more than on the Frankfurt - fulda one

@@Jw420_ Ah you're talking about Koln Achen not Ludwigsbahn. The 185 should work on any lzb enabled track. Lzb has a wire running down the centre of the track, if that wire is there you should be able to use lzb. What stops you turning it on in the 185? And which 185 are you using because the one from this tutorial has it available. It's possible not all of them do.

My wife uploaded a private video of our daughter's school play a few years ago, just for friends and family to see. Some copyright troll claimed and monetised it because in the play, they sang a song from the 17th century. I won the copyright claim, but for six weeks, there were lots of adverts in the video, and they seem to have gotten all of the (admitedly tiny) money for it. Some of these cases need to end up in court.
