I took me 2 years to make friends with our neighborhood crows. Probbaly because people here are jerks and give them a hard time. Last spring one landed on my fence and stared at me through the window for a while before flying away. And a year later, he finally hung around a bit and picked up some bird seed. In my experienced they love (unsalted) whole cashews and especially fried egg yolks. Those are their favorites. The scrub jays also love cashews.

I love crows. They are so fascinating. Rescued a crow last year luckily he was rehabbed and released. They leave me presents since I do feed them and sometimes the mark their " feeding spots" with twigs like an X marks the spot. ❤🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

Wow, those are some big hunks of meat! I mostly feed my crows friends, at home and work, peanuts in the shell, they love them. My work crow friends are so smart. They know my car and will see driving down the street before I’m even at work and follow me, then land right on the fence in front of where I usually park

I swear they orchestrated a flyby. The first Crow caws to his friends when he sees the squirrel, moves up on it, and then next second you here flapping in the background and one of his friends swoops down to scare it away!

Why in good God’s name would anyone want to feed or have these crows hanging around. They are smart, too smart for their own good. They eat garbage ( huge problem), they crap all over the yard, they are loud and obnoxious. It is insensitive to feed these troublemakers. They go on and on. From dawn until dark. I likeve birds singing in the morning and all day but I haven't heard a bird sing since these nasty creatures took over the neighborhood. I have seen them swipe down and peck people on the head. Disgusting creatures. This is my opinion.

I had one that would come get snacks often and I would say hello to him in a raspy crow voice… and then say it clearly… one day I got a txt from my brother saying “ your crow is in the tree’s saying hello” I flipped!! Said record it and he got audio of the crow practicing his hello… he also gave me a squirrel arm from a skeleton.. and a shiny chunk of glass and a shiny spoon… I felt so loved… lol… still have the audio of him clucking and saying hello in different ways… it melts my soul

I only really see the crows in the winter months now. I live on the edge of a wooded area and I believe they roost there. I learned the hard way that they will eat small animals. I work at home and sit at a window at the back of my home. I have a perfect view of this spot. I have several chipmunks that visit and last spring one of the crows picked one up by the tail!!! I immediately jumped up, the crow saw me and released the chipmunk. The crows stopped visiting for the most part once that happened. They can see me sitting in the window. I was shocked when they started visiting again but hunger can be a huge factor. Once the chipmunk incident happened I stopped encouraging them. But they know there is food here. I do like that they sound the alert when the hawk is out but I will have to watch them closely again this spring. Once weather is better I’m out in the yard gardening when I’m not tied to my work desk

The songbirds coming to my feeders are not in the least bit bothered by the crows. The crows and squirrels co-exist. I feel that if they get meat, eggs, and high protein food on a platter, they are less likely to rob nests.

I wish I lived where I could have chickens. Unfortunately I live in town limits and not allowed. I do notice the crows warning about the hawks when they are outside. Yes indeed they are funny I put out table scraps year round and don't laugh I call them with my cellphone there are bird calls on KZbin I of course a crow call works every time .Another thing they seem to recognize with food is I bring the scraps out to the back yard in a plastic sandwich meat container after I drop them by the bi4d feeders I take the knife or spoon and beat the container like a drum that works as well.

I enjoy watching your videos. I am trying to entice crows into the garden of my new home. I have pet ducks, and the crows are very curious about them as they can usually be found around my feet when I am out gardening. But, I also have cats, so it is good they that know caution. Bird feeders are up (away from cats) and the little birds have discovered them wholeheartedly. I still wait for the more cautious crows.

It has been so cold this week I haven’t been able to put out a better camera. Hopefully next week will bring warmer temperatures. The crows are very cautious! Last winter I had 2 regulars that would visit but I think something happened to them or they migrated? I know it sounds weird but I could identify them on sight. I saw them every day last winter! This winter I have more but they aren’t as quick to visit when I put things out. Thank you for watching my videos! I envy you having ducks 💛

My Crows love peanuts. I feed them at home and outside my window at work. There's a large group that show up early when I refill my bird feeders. I sprinkle the peanut mix in the grass, and they come flying as I'm backing out the driveway. The Crows at work even knock on the glass by my desk. 😂
