This was a great video of your crows and squirrel. It took me a while to get them into my yard and now I’m on the schedule. They are so watchful and seem to anticipate my every move too! My critter friends are not losing my address….😂 Thank you for posting such interesting stuff for us lovers!

Imho works better if you dice the meat into smaller pieces, lose the plate & spread the meat out a bit (not in a pile.) Everything (especially new) is classed as a trap by Crows, including plates & food which is piled up.

Not the first time I’ve done this or put venison out for them. I always place things on a plate or in a circle 🤷♀️ I know, I’m weird. But I do that for the familiarity. The one crow that seems to be second guessing is not a regular. I have a couple of new crows. I think they are nesting in the woods behind my house. I did cut up a couple of pieces but was in a hurry to get back to work! They had already been in that same spot this morning getting peanuts lol - my work desk sits in a window about 15/20 feet from where I’m filming. They can see me :)

Spoiled ❤ although they probably tried to hide most of it. If I can find it on sale, I get mine cheese. But nothing beats the good old unsalted peanut in the shell.

Yes. They did make quick work of it. I still have some in the freezer. This is a deer we harvested. Got it in the freezer then got Covid bad and forgot about it unfortunately. At least it won’t be a total waste. Plan on rationing. They seem to want more substantial treats. I’m sure it’s because of the nesting and such. They do love the raw peanuts!! ♥️

@@lilbirdblue1 Have you tried dog or cat dry kibbles? No Crow can resist them, especially the small cat ones. Plus they're cheaper than peanuts.

@@Crow_Friend yes. Sometimes I put out cat kibble for them. They do like it! Many moons ago I found a baby bird on the sidewalk. So young you couldn’t tell what it was. I brought it in, did some research, and found out that soaked cat food is the preferred for baby birds. Anyway, ended up being a starling. We named him “Buggy” :)
