There is technically a way to get multi attack with the deck. Red OT, but would be a trade off with Brandt OT lol and its only once a game and that is if you even hit the OT offensively . I think it is worth trying but it is definitely a super tough trade off. It is Brandt OT after all.

I think the dragontree plan might stay pretty similar, but if they keep it the same, they need a new dragontree marker, maybe one that has nature

I like Ignis as a VG. Of course the caveat is that it’s a G4 but I don’t understand the issue with getting a ride fixer and maybe another tool for them to use? Super consistent at what it does. Can definitely solidify it as a good deck if you can pressure with persona numbers turn 3. For ignis there’s no grade stipulation for its effects so it would definitely pressure super hard. Unless the ride fixer negates some of Ignis’ benefits as a G4? Thoughts?

Interesting ideas and theories. I agree with the season’s question being “What do you play for?”, cause with the Design Force Saga over, Divinez doesn’t have the same direction it took before, so it’d be interesting to see what happens next. As for Nao, I totally get your idea and it would be interesting if they took it that direction. But let’s not forget that Raksasha still exists based on the lore, and if that’s true, then we may have her dark side return and have her struggle with it. New Bavsagra really should continue the no-multiattack route that popularized her, and I feel that she should place cards from the drop into her soul, or even give blessings to the rear guards. New Gripho’s the Viamance Bruce route, where I’m worried some of the old support might not go with it especially with the new DZ-BT06 Wretches. But let’s see where it goes. Or rather, grows. Heheh. Overall, I’m excited to see what the season has in store for the main, new and legacy characters, cause once again we have 12+ characters and hopefully the new 15 episode format gives us more moments for everyone rather than a focus on 5-ish.

The reveals were so good. The new Lyrical surprised me, the new Bavsargra was a long time coming Sephirogila surprised me as well, it seems like Youthberk, Magnolia, and potentially Drajeweled will get something new in Set 8. Either way I'm excited for Season 3 we're eating good in 2025.

One thing I instantly thought about was Devine skills. Sybilt is gone, Gab is asleep, so there’s no creature to make any new Devine skills. So either they gave all the old decks buffs to keep up with the Devine skills, or people saw Nao fighting in a tournament and was like “yk, that’s cool, let’s add that to more cards”😭 But there’s sadly a chance we don’t get any new ones especially with Michiru having Ignis and not a new Drajewled

When they revealed the lyrical unit me was thinking man when do they give us a lj like deck in standard thats not stride deckset (on that moment the reveal happend) guess me wished it into the wrong nation damit but guess i take it this time the only time me be excited for a lyrical deck 😂

So we're also getting a Mermaid Aqua Force deck, which given Flagburg's more dead than Buddyfight and Maelstrom is still a total joke she'll have to do some serious work if she wants Aqua Force to have some kind of impact on Standard. This however also means Megumi is still stuck going 0-3 with Elder unless they pull an Eugene and the new Magnolia is a RR which honestly wouldn't be that surprising.

Bava should be getting a divine skill considering in the lore she has gained the same powers as the Fated and Destined ones and also the weapons still fit, not fully esthetically but they do like up.

I'm hoping for some things in this new season. Good new support for the fated ones, that Erika plays with Gabwellius, that Nao uses "Rakshasa", Michiru vs Raika, Urara to join the frey (i seriously don't understand why Megumi and not her), new RevolDress and, most importantly, awesome fights. (Also why the fuck they didn't bring back Zakusa back, he needs a better Grade 2 ride line)

You’re probably not that far off about Akina having to figure out why he plays Vanguard. He might not have as long of a history with high stakes fights as other characters, but remember that he spent years of his life taking care of Hikari, even before he basically started Vanguard for her. Now that she is safe and well, I think the writers might lean into Akina basically having the dilemma that people coming out of long-term caregiving have of “now what do I do?”. This tournament would be a good opportunity for him to have an almost Touhya-like storyline of trying to figure out what he wants both in Vanguard and life, now that Hikari’s wellbeing isn’t hanging on threads. (Plus perfect opportunity for a Touyha cameo and a very heartfelt conversation between the two, come on writers!)

Michiru using the same type of drip as s1 Yuyu is very funny to me. Also lets be real here, they'll put a ride skipper for Ignis. Krysrain, Sagitta and now Artisaria. I really hope Bushi keeps up with this new direction with Lyrical art design (they actually look like beings from Cray).

Everything in each PV will appear within the 1st and 2nd episode of their own season. Just like Season 1 which Nao taught Akina how to do a cardfight, and in Season 2 which Suo got beaten by Kuon. So, just as I expected again, Akina will get stomped by Kagetsu.

Hikari Is friends with Mikoto and yuna (Both being LM users), now that Suzune has been confirmed to be a LM user as well i do think She'll end up being Erika's friend, Hikari and her ties with LM users in both present and future i see. Also i think she'll be the Suo to Erika's Akina, she does give me that vibe.
